Laso is the latest project to announce a raise on @MetaDAOProject, with its ICO running from June 30 to July 3. Here's what you need to know: @LasoFinance brings privacy to crypto spending: connect a wallet, get prepaid cards, buy gift cards, and send bank transfers without giving up privacy. Like every ICO on MetaDAO, the commitment is in USDC on Solana. The minimum raise is $750k, with a maximum cap that stays hidden until the sale closes. The logic behind this design is that a public hard cap invites whales and snipers to grab the supply, while no cap risks raising more than the business needs. The team will operate on a monthly allowance of $50,000, and any extra spend will need to be approved through governance. Laso also disclosed early traction: in the 30 days to June 4, it processed $720k in payments, generated $34k in revenue from 3,155 monthly active spenders, and reached a roughly 4.8% take rate. The bulk of that volume comes from human users, but a small, fast-growing slice, around 2 to 4%, comes from AI agents. I'm very excited about this. We've been approached to ICO many times over the years, but none of the options financially aligned the holders with the business. At best, the token would be divorced from the success of the business. At worst, it ran the risk of rugs. MetaDAO found an excellent balance here, and we're very excited to get it launched.
