@twitnitnit Thanks for your presentation in the Virtual AI Conference! Your project has a lot of promise. How does the AI deal with controversial and emerging areas of science? How do you make sure that it doesn’t have a biais towards certainty? Thanks!

@Chantaljmsmith As for the future, both on knowledge validation and identification taking outliers into account is going to be important. I think part of the answer lies in human/machine collaboration. The machine isn’t binary finding “THE TRUTH” but rather serving up relevant knowledge.

@Chantaljmsmith Thanks! And really good question! For now, our tools do not take into account certainty of research - only similarity. However, as we entirely bypass the citation system we avoid the major bias built into that, especially in emerging areas.
