@Dream_chaser42 @topskillsportuk Hidden? Maybe at the start of the tournament, you could have have called it that, but, after Morocco's antics begun and CAF body didn't make any comments, it was clear, that something was going on behind the scenes.

🚨💣 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Explosive reports accuse Morocco of waging a “DIRTY WAR” against Senegal in the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations final. 🇸🇳🇲🇦 Le Monde has obtained five official CAF documents revealing: *⃣— Espionage fears after Senegal were forced to train at Morocco’s own complex *⃣— Deliberate logistical sabotage including unsuitable hotels and “abnormal security failures” *⃣— Three Senegalese players hospitalised with food poisoning in the dressing room *⃣— The infamous “towel battle” where Moroccan ball boys tried to snatch Édouard Mendy’s towel, sparking physical clashes Senegal coach Pape Thiaw declared his “players were in danger.” Despite winning 1-0 on the pitch, Senegal walked off in protest over a late penalty — and CAF later awarded Morocco the title 3-0 on forfeit. Senegal are now taking the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, calling it the biggest administrative robbery in football history. —@MARCA (via Le Monde)

Once upon a time; Kojo Oppong Nkrumah built a 6-unit classroom in Ofoasi. Michael Blackson established an ultramodern school in his hometown. Unfortunately, the cost of building Kojo's block was higher than Michael's.🤦💔

Manager: We lost our best engineer today. CEO: The one leading payments? Manager: Yes. CEO: Did another company offer more money? Manager: No. CEO: Then why leave? Manager: He said he was tired of fixing the same production issues every week. CEO: That’s part of the job. Manager: He didn’t mind fixing issues. He minded that nobody wanted to fix the root cause. CEO: We prioritized speed. Manager: He wanted quality. CEO: So he left over that? Manager: He left because he felt like a firefighter, not an engineer. Good engineers don’t just want to solve problems. They want to eliminate them.

Fried foods can trigger ulcer pains. Fried foods can worsen your obesity. Fried foods have trans fats, which can raise your bad (LDL) cholesterol levels. Fried foods can raise your risk of heart disease, stroke & premature death. The worst is deep-frying with reused oils. It's better to eat your food grilled, boiled, roasted, or steamed.

Ghana doesn’t have a bus shortage problem. It has a governance problem. For decades, we’ve bought buses, STC, OSA, Metro Mass, Ayalolo. And for decades, many of them have ended up abandoned or barely functioning. Why? Because the basics are missing: proper maintenance plans, disciplined asset management, coherent route planning, and real accountability. We haven’t learned the core lesson. Instead, we keep procuring more buses, as if hardware can fix what is fundamentally a systems failure. It’s the hallmark of a procurement-driven approach to development. The solution is not more buses. It’s better governance. Start with Accra as a pilot. Establish a single accountable body, the Accra Transit Authority. Its job would be to plan routes, set service standards, and enforce performance-based contracts across operators. Trotro operators are not the enemy. They are already the backbone of the system. Bring them into a formal structure, set clear standards, and hold them accountable. Protect routes from arbitrary encroachment. Enforce maintenance schedules based on manufacturer guidelines for state-operated buses. Only once a functioning system exists does it make sense to invest in more buses, because then they will actually last. Until then, every new fleet we procure is just a slow donation to the scrapyard.

The US told us that the Iranian government killed over 30k of their citizens during the January protest. Iran told us that they didn't kill Iranians but rather, it was the protesters that were killing people. Here the US is admitting to having sent guns to the protesters but it seemed like the guns didn't get to the protesters even though it did. So the protest was actually violent as the protesters were also armed, given the possibility of them killing people just like the evidence of Saleh Mohammadi killing two police officers. The US will fund terrorism in your region and when you hunt down the terrorists, they'll accuse you of murdering your people and use it as a pretext to invade you.

“I explained that long before the slave trade and the imperialistic rivalries in Africa began, the civilisations of the Ghana Empire were in existence. At that time, in the ancient city of Timbuktu, Africans versed in science, arts and learning were having their works translated into Greek and Hebrew and were, at the same time, exchanging teachers with the University of Cordova in Spain. 'These were the brains ! ' I declared proudly, 'And today they come and tell us that we cannot do it. We have been made to believe that we can't do it. But have you forgotten? You have emotions like anybody else ; you have feelings like anybody else; you have aspirations like anybody else-and you have visions. So don't let people come and bamboozle us that the African is incapable of governing himself!” --Kwame Nkrumah, GHANA: The Autobiography of Kwame Nkrumah.

Legal Education 101. Before You do any business in Ghana: Read This First! One of the most recurrent legal problems I witness in Ghana, is due to either our trusting nature; or the informality of our business transactions One of the biggest mistakes people make is not signing anything at all. You go to buy land, and they tell you, “Just pay first, we will prepare the indenture later.” You give someone money for a service, and there is no written record. You pay a deposit, and everything is based on trust and verbal promises. That is how many people lose money; or get arrested for defrauding by false pretences. Before anything else, understand this: if money is changing hands, something should be written and signed. Even a simple document is better than nothing. It should clearly state how much you are paying, who you are paying, and what the payment is for. Without that, you may struggle to prove anything later. Once you are dealing with a document, then the next step is to protect yourself before you sign. 1. Don’t rush - If someone is pushing you to sign quickly, pause. You have a right to take your time. 2. Read it. All of it. - There is no such thing as “just sign, it’s standard.” If it is important enough to sign, it is important enough to read. 3. If you don’t understand it, don’t sign it. - Ask questions. If the explanation is unclear, walk away or get someone to help you review it. 4. Check the names. - Make sure your name is correct. Make sure the other person or company is real. 5. Be clear on what you are paying for. - Especially for land. Is it full payment? A deposit? Documentation fees? Site allocation? It must be written clearly. 6. Pay attention to the money terms. How much? When? Are there penalties for delay? Is the money refundable? 7. Look for what happens when things go wrong. Can they cancel easily? Will you lose your money? Can they change terms later? 8. Never sign a document with blank spaces. Anything left blank can be filled later. Not in your favour. 9. Take your copy immediately. Don’t leave without it. Ever. 10. When in doubt, ask for help. A lawyer, a friend, someone who understands these things. It can save you a lot. Shalom

@JairosiJonasi @Big_Mck Yes this is an issue. What I'm more curious about is that, if we are to implement the use of mother tongues in teaching and probably do away with the colonial tongues, given the myriad ethnic groups in each country across Africa, how would this play out?

As an African, to really understand how the United States or the West feels about you, you have to look humans’ relationship with animals. The wellbeing of the animal is not your concern, unless when you need it to stay alive for your pleasure as a pet or earn you money as a business venture. Some animals are lured from the bush and domesticated. They are given the impression they are not like those in bush. The same way America dangles visa in your face and tells you are different from your own people. Any feeds you throw at the animal is not because you love them, you are only feeding them fat so you can extract enough beef to feed yourself. The same way America throws aids and fake concerns at you so it can plunder you more. This is the reason they felt no remorse with the transatlantic slave trade and salve plantation practice. They literally had your ancestors in zoo like animals. They see you the same the way humans see animals, and there’s nothing more self-sabotaging than your unconditional love for your colonizers.

Curiosity is stronger than love. A reporter asked him, “How so?” “I’m 94 years old, and I got married at 23. But at 46, my wife left me. She told me that she had become invisible now… that I was working too much and I wasn’t paying enough attention to her anymore. I told her that it wasn’t possible, that I loved her more than everything, and it was true but… that’s when she asked me: do you know when was the last time you came to see me play bridge? I didn’t know how to answer, and she said… ‘It’s normal. You never came.’ And she left. So I made a decision… In the months that followed, I signed up for bridge lessons and… I learned how to play, I practiced, I researched, and one day… I saw there was going to be a tournament near our home. So I signed up and… She was in the other team. I was seeing her for the first time in nearly a year… Of course, she beat me. But I saw a feeling in her eyes that I hadn’t seen for a long time. Gratitude. So at the end, I went to see her and I told her… ‘If you agree to give me a second chance, I’ll never miss any of your competitions again.’ I kept my word. She passed away 8 years ago but… She taught me the most precious of the lessons: “Love isn’t enough, you have to know how to show it.”

I really wonder what EA will do and say to sell FC27 They can't play the ''We hear you guys'' card again, what will they say ''This time we REALLY heard you''? They can't say they are focusing on the gameplay cause they say that for the last 3-4 years and still nothing changed They really need to do something HUGE in order to bring new people and the people that quit this year back on FC Honestly UT needs a overhaul in general , is been to similar for decades and is really becoming stale I really hope EA finds a way to make the game fun again cause FC at the current state is far from enjoyable... #fc26 🙁
