@ITKSpace Space, you seem to be influenced by a Bayern propaganda campaign to explain for an atrocious showing on the big stage last night. The result was far from the result of some Portuguese conspiracy, rather the reflection of a weak, pathetic performance from the team Florian rejected

I think it‘s because of 50+1. They don‘t want fans to own the clubs.

@BIRDMANSBALLS @Rhik17 @fiago7 Ownership is convergent with club success. We enjoy the elevation of the Premier League product and team glory through global investment, the PL is decades ahead of everywhere else

@Rhik17 @user57483 @fiago7 Your country sacrificed culture and affordable entertainment to create an environment for billionaires and state funds. England is the reason why the sport is monopolized and in the state that it is in. Enjoy your saudi, murica clubs until the last normal fan gets priced out

@DragaoDosEUA @fiago7 These “biggest clubs” exist off the unequal broadcasting distributions in their irrelevant leagues. The Orem has the highest average quality of any league ever, so many brilliant teams with organic growth. Much better that fat cat farmer clubs masquerading as non profits

@user57483 @fiago7 But your strongest teams are still duking it out (and pretty evenly) against fan owned teams, even the two biggest clubs in the world happen to be fan owned

@Rhik17 @fiago7 I agree state backed projects are abhorrent and I totally reject blood money in football, but the 50-1 model is simply useless and a cope about reality of global media. Clubs are commercial assets, should be able to use their revenue to attract investment freely like in the Prem

@user57483 @fiago7 50+1 is admirable, but German clubs can’t compete consistently with rich clubs in other big leagues. Sure projects like City, Chelsea, Newcastle are abhorrent, but they brought them some success.

@DragaoDosEUA @fiago7 The beauty of the premier league model is its efficiency and sustainability in capital sourcing and allocation. Trust me, us PL fans are very satisfied with the product of such healthy global investment 😅

@mateo_fsk @fiago7 I’m curious what objective positive impact does it have that negates the stagnation it causes? The premier league fan experience is incredible without a cabal of elitist fans blocking progress

@user57483 @fiago7 You can say it's not ideal but it's in no way performative. It objectively has has an incredibly positive impact on german football fans and fan culture

@fiago7 I support all private corporations who engage with the commercial assets of the English Premier League to extract marginal profit. Global football must follow the English broadcasting and investment model or be left behind.

@ITKSpace Florian is grinning from ear to ear right now, knowing his choice to reject these farmer monopolist bottlers and join the premium of English football is fully vindicated.

Bayern Munich’s rather poor season has now come to an end with an expected UEFA Champions League elimination in their own stadium after a horrific, toothless and at times almost scared performance in their own backyard. It’s worth mentioning that, from a journalistic perspective, the referee in this return leg delivered a dreadful performance as well, however that is simply no explanation for Bayern’s lack of intensity, urgency and overall effort on a night of this magnitude at the Allianz Arena. Bayern’s average season therefore comes to an end, and with it the Ballon d’Or hopes surrounding Harry Kane and Michael Olise, because what ultimately remains is a domestic league title in a competition which, from a neutral perspective, is currently not viewed among Europe’s top five leagues in terms of overall level and competitiveness.

Randomly seeing a lot of Benzema slander on my timeline this Saturday morning... and I strongly DISAGREE. Karim Benzema to Real Madrid is one of the best bargains in football history. A €35m signing that lasted 14 years at Real Madrid. 5 more years than Ronaldo. 6 more years than Bale. 14 years at the biggest club in the world, under the most pressure, with the most scrutiny, in the most ruthless environment. He's 5th on their all-time appearance list, their 2nd top scorer (354 goals) and their 2nd top assist provider (156). He facilitated the greatest goalscorer the game has ever seen, whilst also scoring 20 goals in a season 6 times alongside him and 30 once. Once Ronaldo left, he produced one of the greatest individual seasons this century... 44 goals, 15 assists in 46 games in 21/22, including 15 in the Champions League, including strikes in 5 straight knockout games, with back-to-back hat-tricks. Everyone will have their favourites... but Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane haven't achieved anywhere close to the things Benzema has and didn't have the same longevity at the very top either. As far as I'm concerned, Benzema can sit at any table he wants!

@DougieCritchley He averaged under 15 gps, Suarez did it in the prem and then trounced him in farmers league. Ronaldo saw him as a fool. How are you seriously comparing this inconsistent liability to the world class consistent levels showed by Suarez Lewa Kane you are blinded by bias

Which decade is that?! He joined Real Madrid as a 21 year old. Started 14 League games in his first year, 13 off the bench, scored 8 and assisted 3. His only other season scoring less than 19 was in 2017/18, when he missed 12 games with injury. Only scored 12, 5 in the League, but he laid on 10 League assists, a tally Xavi topped 3 times in his career. You're talking absolute nonsense.
