The main beauty of the AITO M9 is not that it's beautiful. After all, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Driving the car is just a beautiful experience, as you barely have to drive or park. We drove it all the way from Beijing to Xinjiang and then back to Beijing. Most of the time, the car was just driving itself. We were just sitting in it as if we were in some kind of sight-seeing vehicle, except that we were legally required not to let go of the steering wheel for more than 2 minutes. We seldom had to intervene. In fact, we went down the Tianshan Mountain on the famously challenging Du-Ku Highway that snaked through dozens of sharp zigzags, dropping by an elevation of well over 2,000 meters, without ever intervening once. With the M9, we almost always had the car park itself, often without us in the car. More than once, the car parking itself with no one in it became a small spectacle to onlookers.
