What are your best oil related ideas right now? Not my field but interested in understanding how people who specialise in that area see the situation right now.

@waterboystocks Adding to $PVL oil and gas trust today monthly dividend just declared .01 on 50 plus oil avg price for Jan due to lag ex div 4/30 going forward dividend will go up substantially imo of course.

$PVL is a $60 million market cap oil and gas royalty trust. 80% net profit interest in 219 oil wells and 8 natural gas wells in the Permian Basin, as well as 47 nat gas wells in East TX/North LA. Distribution yield is 8.2%. Stock is flat ytd despite oil booming.

@walststocker @StonksAndChill Taking advantage of the macro to get a discount now was a smart move. Still think a dividend increase should be in play for when things settle down a little. If not a dividend increase a company buyback would help bring more shareholder value.

@TheDriller11 Bought quite a lot of Borr today. Modern Jackup utilisation held up very nicely last year, despite Pemex/Aramco cancellations. Now short cycle shallow water, is the obvious way to reboost oil production volumes in the Middle East. Surge in JU demand coming imo...

So let me get this straight $BORR: 1. Convert extended maturity 5 years (33') with a materially lower coupon (3.5%) and materially higher conversion price (8$) 2. Stock now to roam free up to 8$ (+40% upside) 3. Moving out debt structure at lower rates Absolutely cooking

always hunting for structurally sound, brutally wounded losers (poised to rise again): 2022: global banks ( $C, $DB, $BCS) 2023: regional banks (...) 2024-25: offshore drills (e.g. $VAL $RIG) 2025: petro-chem (e.g. $LYB $DOW, damn missed it!) What's your pick today? both sub-sector and individual names.

Think market is sleeping on $WTI W&T Offshore INC 140 million in cash total debt of approx 350 million in a safer jurisdiction with mostly unhedged production this provides the torque if one thinks oil will stay high for longer. Full disclosure I am very long the stock. Last year in shitty oil price environment still built cash and payed down debt. Bonus CEO is the largest shareholder.

@christankerfund I owned it before that in the period where it went to 72 if I remember correctly paid massive dividends for a few years. Rode it up and back down lol when I learned tanker stocks aren’t hold forever stocks.

$SFL was formed as a subsidiary of legacy $FRO in the mid 2000s, and that also was spun out to shareholders. SFL is the only remaining surviving standalone entity from the Frontline umbrella. Good to know your shipping history.  END

In 2012, Frontline restructured and with a large investment by JF, created Frontline 2012 (also publicly traded). Frontline 2012 acquired 15 of the old Frontline’s vessels and related debt . 1/

$PVL $MVO 2 oil plays still sitting at $60 oil price I'm not selling $PVL easy 100%+ swing as monthly payments rise from $60 to $90/100 payments $MVO will hold her for the run up for liquidation in July we short the top

Added $WTI $PTALF and $KOS calls. See a lot of early told u so posts on oil lets see what happens. Feel these 3 names are undervalued at 75-80 oil price imo. Don’t think u can just turn it all back on instantly like instant ramen noodles.

Maybe $IEP a way to gain some exposure to $UAN? Icahn Enterprises L.P. (IEP), controlled by Carl Icahn, holds significant stakes in CVR Energy, Inc. (CVI) and CVR Partners, LP (UAN) through direct/indirect ownership and affiliates (e.g., Icahn Enterprises Holdings, IEP Energy Holding LLC, etc.). These are not simple portfolio holdings but involve control-level positions, with CVR Energy also owning a portion of CVR
