must be so weird to be a plant. you've outsourced sex to creatures that look nothing like you. your flowers need to be attractive not to your opposite sex but to an alien species

@VarshneyVardhan this conclusion only holds if players are not playing repeated games the fact that this does hold implies that most players of the game (i.e the general indian public) are generally short-term payoff-seeking and do not sufficiently value future game outcomes

payoff for the individual, regardless of the action chosen by other players. This payoff/utility is generated as a result of the realization that the individual will not be fined for it, and that the ‘hard work’ required to find a nearby dustbin has been avoided. +

If you analyze the whole situation using the lens of game theory, you would come to the conclusion that littering public spaces is a dominant strategy and filthy streets are a Nash Equilibrium outcome of the same. Littering is a dominant strategy because it generates some+

Indians aren't fit for governance exhibit 4519089. Any Indian who is given the slightest bit of authority turns into a rent-seeker the very next second. Moreover, people are accustomed to living in filth, and being filthy is part of mainstream culture.

an essential frustration of modernity is that success within the system is largely conditional on wanting things that I have never really wanted

Okay, I found this INSANE app that builds any n8n workflow in plain English. and its non of those bs mcps or claude set ups that dont work. Why? Because it actually has REAL-TIME n8n documentation baked in. Not some outdated 2024 bullshit. and it is doesn't take 3 hours to set I just told it: "build me a workflow that scrapes competitor prices and undercuts them automatically" 17 seconds later: WORKING WORKFLOW. Ready to deploy. While you're still googling "n8n webhook authentication error"... Someone else already built, tested, and shipped 5 automations using this thing. The craziest part? It knows EVERY node, EVERY integration, EVERY edge case. Your $5K consultant is about to shit themselves when they realize a free tool does their job better. I'm not gatekeeping this one. Comment "BUILDER" and I'll DM you the link. (Following required for DMs) The automation game just changed forever.

one of my more out-there intuitions is that ancient religions repeatedly came up with "god" as a social technology not to enable large-scale coordination via shared civilizational myths but to primarily help the individual come to terms with the burden of agency in a hostile env
@somewheresy

i'm not saying there's a correlation but as soon as I stopped feeling sociologically attached to atheism and began trusting the power of an unknowably powerful and benevolent God my life got 10 times better in every single way and my longest struggles evaporated

if you can't stand music with lyrics while working you're likely a wordcel; your reasoning processes are primarily verbal in nature and exogenous semantic load interrupts them
