Manchester Storm regret to inform fans that tonight’s fixture has been postponed due to major travel disruption affecting the Belfast Giants.
Widespread travel issues across the UK have prevented the Giants from travelling to Manchester as scheduled. Despite exploring every possible solution, the game cannot go ahead this evening.
We understand how disappointing this will be for all fans who were looking forward to tonight’s fixture.
We are now working closely with the Elite League and the Giants to confirm a new date as soon as possible. All tickets purchased for this evening will remain valid for the rearranged fixture, and full details will be communicated once confirmed.
Our Air the Bear event, originally planned for tonight, will now take place next Saturday when we face the Nottingham Panthers.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and thank all our fans for their continued support and understanding.

If NI is "general taxation" then why not abolish it and increase IT?
When you have enough qualifying years to receive the state pension, why continue to pay it without any increase in entitlement?
The amount of money I have paid in NI over my working life would give me an excellent return if it were invested in a pension. Certainly more than the state pension.

None of these other countries pay a non-means tested state pension to all citizens directly out of general taxation. It is not the percentage of GDP that is the problem; it is the percentage of state revenue. In the UK, that figure is ~11% and for the rest it is ~4 - 5%.
