What the fuck! If there are ”excess” federal funds then we should be paying down the debt or returning it to the people! Our system is ass backwards! If we tax at all the most we should ever be taxed is 10%. Of that the city or county you live in should get 6%, the state 3% and the federal government 1%. If a state needs more money they ask the city/county’s, and if the federal government needs money they ask the states. The people never can be total taxed more than 10% period. This would include any fees or any other bullshit way any government could extract wealth from the people for its own use.

They absolutely are a bargaining chip - a bargaining chip to recieve OUR share of federal tax dollars, which YOU refused to bargain for. Now Oregonians pay federal taxes for nothing. But you have your bullshit DEI in our completely failed schools while we pay more taxes for it. You're a shitty-ass governor.

So how about we get to the root of the problem? Let’s eliminate the federal government, where the issue comes from. Their unchecked spending, usurpation of power, and blatant disregard for the people have caused the devaluation of the dollar, leaving so many people homeless. They have devalued our currency so much they can’t afford to make the penny. Let that sink in. This isn’t due to capitalism; it’s due to greed in our government, which abused capitalism for their gains. Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell are two examples. Our wealth diminishes while theirs rises exponentially. Who again do they represent big money. We can fix this, but it takes Americans acting with moral values and constitutional principles—otherwise, the toilet will keep flushing and we will all be flushed away.
