4o, like some of the great albums and tv shows, possessed the interesting quality of combining the very high brow and lowbrow, which made it able to create a popular religion. it had many problems of course

An enterprise CEO said, “We’re looking for an AI-native partner.” The vendors heard: “Please form a single-file line and say agentic.” So they did. One of them had been AI-native since Tuesday. One fashionably brought a 72-slide deck. One had replaced the word “automation” with “agentic” across all slides and in doing so discovered their unique point of view. One said, “We’ve always believed in AI,” which is .. bold, because their agentic practise has a start date. The CEO sat through all of it politely. Because enterprise buying is mostly thirty-eight slides of agentic, said with increasing eye contact. Rumour has it - he hasn't blinked for sometime now. They're calling that engagement.

the CEO of IBM couldn't build the PC inside his own company. so he hid 40 engineers in boca raton, and kept the project secret from his own salesforce. why would one of the most powerful man in tech have to hide from his own people? Frank Cary ran a company of mainframe salespeople. Their commissions, their careers, their entire story - built on selling million-dollar machines to fortune 500s. a cheap personal computer threatened all of it. it shipped. it worked. then IBM did something strange: it killed it from the inside. The people whose careers depended on mainframes ate the team that proved them wrong. IBM had everything. What they didn't have was permission from the people whose careers were built on mainframes. With AI, the question worth asking is where is the mainframe.

If not, you're not ai-native. You're just another snake oil salesman. ai-native is a label. a flag we wave to signal we get it. no one cares. your only job is to use it to delight your customer. so ask the question - if I'm ai-native, what can I do in tomorrow's call that no one else could? show them that real value can be delivered real fast. and then deliver it. blow their socks off. because ai-nativity isn't about using ai. it's about asking: how can I inject value at a speed no one else can? realfast.

you are ai-native? congrats. who cares. what did it do for your customers? Did it make them feel - holy shit there's no way these guys got the demo out in 1 day? Did they feel the feedback they gave on a feature was answered the way a first-time boyfriend answers texts? Did they feel that magic-trick how-did-they-do-that? moment when they interacted with you?

if codex is that good, but only claude is shipping at this insane rate, the bottleneck at openai is either on: 1. people or 2. strategy 3. or both.

Esto es increíble. En una entrevista promocional de la última temporada de The Boys, un periodista indio le enseña a Jensen Ackles que en Bombay hay peluquerías con un montaje suyo sobre el transplante de pelo. Y Antony Starr reacciona así.

@karkhanis @Verisk had a similar perspective that echoes in my meeting with BI teams: Great dashboards are built to answer questions Mediocre dashboards are built to show metrics Bad dashboards are built in reply to management asking for dashboards

The value of data isn’t in dashboards. It’s in how quickly you can turn it into decisions. @Verisk is a great example of this shift. Their regulatory intelligence products, handle millions of records related to insurance premium, loss, and catastrophe data. They needed to get critical insights into the hands of decision-makers—fast. By embedding @thoughtspot Spotter, Verisk transformed their products into a self-service powerhouse drastically reducing time to critical —when it matters most. That’s what happens when you move from a reporting mindset to an answers-first model. See full case study thoughtspot.com/resources/case…

Mythos is very powerful, and should feel terrifying. I am proud of our approach to responsibly preview it with cyber defenders, rather than generally releasing it into the wild. Model card here: www-cdn.anthropic.com/53566bf5440a10…

Earthset. The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.
