I get so tired of this. Tractor doesn’t have def as it is a 2013 model year before the def came out and still have this exhaust filter. Sit here for an hour waiting. 🤯🤦🏼‍♂️

Speaking as the guy who sets up everything in the monitor here. I’m not sure what dad is doing but I’m terrified.

Quick trip to Norfolk to watch Holden for 10:41 for a 7 place finish. The 5 1/2 hour drive was worth it.

Snowing on me in Custer county. Cancel this year’s corn crop, it’ll never get planted in time.

6" of rain over night will in fact put us in a Flood Warning until 6 pm. It will also flood basements, creeks are out of their banks, water standing in fields & roads closed but the Kansas River hasn't been this full in a very long time. Happy Monday 💫

@JoeFarmer71107 @yatertots98 Joe, too many think theirs is the only way. What works for you probably won't work for me, but we all have things we can learn.

@yatertots98 Why can’t you just ask. These are irrigated fields and it is minimum till only loosening soil where the plants are planted. I have no till dryland as well.

This is what we call strip tilling. We literally only disturb the ground where the rows of crop will be planted. There is a trash whipper to move the previous crop residue and then the shank goes in the ground approximately 8 inches deep and places the fertilizer at whatever depth you prefer. The wavie discs are slightly angled to fill the void from the shank and a packer wheel to pack it all.

@wolfsden53 I vertically till ahead of it to knock out early weeds and then strip till. My tillage consists of about 2.5 gallons of fuel per acre
