I’ve been experimenting with @openclaw for personal workflows. It’s an ambitious project, but I struggled to build a clear mental model of how execution flows internally. Between skills, heartbeats, and lifecycle management, it was hard to reason about what was happening when and why.
I realized I wanted something closer to the Unix philosophy: a very thin layer on top of a tool I already understand.
So I built Claude-Pipe, a small bridge that connects the Claude Code CLI to Telegram and Discord. It does not add a new agent abstraction, scheduler, or orchestration layer. It simply pipes stdin and stdout from the existing CLI into a messaging interface.
Key design choices:
~1,000 lines of code, small enough to read end to end.
Runs directly on top of an existing Claude Code setup. Skills, plugins, and sub-agents behave exactly as they do in the terminal.
Logs Claude Code’s JSON output, which makes debugging and inspection straightforward.
Sharing in case others are looking for a minimal, inspectable way to access their Claude Code environment remotely.

This is the state of my OpenClaw dashboard so far.

So far it has not organised my life or delivered a case of beer as promised. The main goal is to analyse how it can be used and secured for use in a real environment.
We are trialing many security methodologies for the OpenClaw system and have already had success in alleviating some of the common pitfalls.
Our product uses OpenClaw's codebase so we benefit from the latest security updates from the community while keeping our proprietary tools and security modifications built on top.

Decided to have OpenClaw build this from scratch.
Why? After troubleshooting for the past 2 days still can't see agent on mission control.
Goal: Sub-agents that can assess Kanban board, create tasks, assign them, clarify requirements, and start working autonomously.
Chatted on TG. It told me what was missing and started building immediately.
Inspired by this. If Alex can build autonomous agent systems just by chatting, why not try?

With my set up, it's free. I have an army on my desk. Never resting. Never eating. Never complaining. Always conquering. Here is your problem: it's not that you don't understand this. You don't want to understand this. You don't want to think this is possible. Your brain doesn't want to believe this is the world we now live in. It is. And the faster you can accept this and get on board, the faster you can enter the new society. Otherwise, you will forever be doomed to the permanent underclass. Make your choice.
