It’s jarring how many people I know who couldn’t care less about the NBA right now. Was at a brewery last weekend watching the NCAA and it was like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to talk about the league. The NBA has a serious cultural problem with the American sports fan.

Unlike most “Star Trek Fans,” I like Trek that isn’t TOS and TNG. I loved Voyager and Enterprise. I thought Picard and even Discovery had great arcs. And even I think this show is trash. It’s moralistic and preachy. It’s cringe. The characters fall flat. It’s a complete betrayal of everything that makes Star Trek good.

A Spanish influencer who went to the HBO set of Harry Potter has revealed that "One of the requirements to work on the series was that everyone involved (cast and crew) had to be a genuine Harry Potter fan." I'm sorry, at what point did the hiring of Andy Greenwald, a writer for the show, who never read Harry Potter PRIOR to being hired be deemed "a genuine fan?" Hiring Pappa to be Snape...... that was done by genuine fans?! This is insane, and just straight up gaslighting fans at this point.

NYT confirmed on Friday that Paolo Zampolli used his influence to have her transferred to an ICE facility. She disappeared for 3.5 months & was at 2 different facilities. She has described the horrors of that experience. Amanda’s story is much bigger than anyone realizes. MUCH.

Tengo 37 años, gano bien, viajo 4 veces al año y mi casa siempre está impecable y en silencio. Ayer mi mejor amiga, que tiene 2 hijos y vive estresada, me dijo que mi vida 'no tiene propósito' porque no he formado una familia. Honestamente, veo su vida (pañales, gritos, no dormir, cero ahorros) y me parece una pesadilla. Le respondí que mi propósito es disfrutar mi dinero y mi paz, no ser una mártir de la maternidad.
