Earlier today, 2 defendants; Kingsley Adieme and Rachel Onyekachi, were arraigned before the magistrate court sitting at Bolade, Oshodi for indiscriminate dumping of refuse. They both pled guilty. They were convicted and sentenced to 3months in prison. #ZeroToleranceLagos

It's will be foolish to vote against President Tinubu in 2027. He introduced student loans, he's building good roads across the federation, he's growing our foreign reserves, he's borrowing money for capital projects & not for oil subsidy. He deserves to be voted again if we're being honest.

No Yoruba person has ever come out to post something like this about Asherkine and the numerous Igbo people he has helped, spending millions. It is always low self esteem Igbos who make issues and create drama out of everything. Loud people for no reason. He is he even using a false identity to justify his claim.

A Yoruba woman posted her uncompleted building video online, it was an Igbo man that first gifted her 1 million naira. That is Love and Compassion. Politicians are our problem, we love each other and this shall continue. Igbos are my people ❤️

Two IBO on the streets of Guangzhou City in China 🇨🇳 The only tribe that brings shame to Nigeria across the globe. Even Edo people who are the craziest in Nigeria Don't embarrass Nigeria like the ibos. The Osu spell must really be so strong. They embarrass Nigeria everywhere

Remember the indigenous bill, it took the efforts of Yorùbá conservatives to stop it. Non-conservative Yorùbá APC members know how dangerous that Bill was but they couldn't say anything against it. I honestly don't blame them and I understand why they are quiet? But the big question is, those of us who can be loud about dangers like this, why did you (APC members) deem it fit to collapse our movement into the APC where we won't be able to address tribal, religious and cultural issues that affect our existence as a race? This is a big question!

Youthful exuberance. All noise no substance. Let’s keep praying for strength for Dr Abati. It takes a lot to stomach the shenanigans of small-minded folks like this in the workplace. They ought never to share a space ever. 🪴

ChatGPT is your empirical evidence? Not even the professional dignity to edit it - to at least adjust the borrowed thought before parading it in public. When thoroughbred journalists accuse you of being ill-trained, or not trained at all - some of us light a candle of sympathy on the altar of benefit of the doubt. Only to do this and endorse all speculations. It is not merely that you are not a journalist. You are a lazy researcher, a hollow combatant, and - stripped of all charitable interpretation - a terrible professional. You invest so much emotion into what ought to be a craft that every interview has become a war, every conversation a battlefield. A daily, desperate performance of intelligence - staged most loudly by the person who possesses it least. Sir Tolu did justice to the topic. Clean, thorough, sufficient. But your bruised ego could not accommodate correction - so you ran to ChatGPT for rescue, and still managed to embarrass yourself on the return journey. When last has Arise Morning Show hosted an A-list public personality? Courtesy you... The earlier the Duke realizes you are more of a liability to his outfit than asset, the better it is for everyone else. If you look into water long enough, you will see your own face. Look at your work. That is you. Good Morning Severally...

The Debunking: Fact vs. Spin 1. The "Single Process" Fallacy •The Lie: The argument claims these aren't "different approvals" but stages of one program. •The Reality: While technically a single "program," the shifting numbers (from 4 trillion to 3.3 trillion) represent a unilateral haircut by the government. Calling it a "validation" is a polite way of saying the government is refusing to acknowledge the full debt GenCos have already incurred. If you owe a shop 10k and "validate" it down to 7k, you haven't followed a process; you’ve defaulted on 3k. 2. The "Negotiation" vs. Coercion •The Lie: The post suggests GenCos are happily "signing settlement agreements." •The Reality: Industry reports indicate that GenCos are signing out of desperation, not agreement. With a N6 trillion+ total debt hang-over, accepting a N3.3 trillion bond is a "take it or leave it" scenario. The argument frames a lopsided power dynamic as a standard business negotiation. 3. The "Payments have Started" Distraction •The Lie: Citing the January 2026 bond as proof that "payments have started." •The Reality: Issuing a bond is not the same as liquidating debt with cash. A bond is simply moving debt from one ledger (Accounts Payable) to another (Long-term Debt). It doesn't solve the immediate liquidity crisis GenCos face when trying to pay gas suppliers today. The Rejoinder: An Exercise in Evasion The provided argument is a classic "Red Herring." It seeks to win a technical debate about administrative flowcharts while completely evading the subject of systemic insolvency. The Evasion: The author focuses entirely on the legality and sequence of the bond issuance. However, the actual subject of the original critique—and the crisis itself—is the widening gap between generation costs and revenue. By obsessing over whether the 4 trillion was "anticipatory" or "final," the author evades these three critical points: 1The Shortfall: Even if the 3.3 trillion is paid, it covers less than half of the verified N6.6 trillion debt. Where is the plan for the rest? 2The Gas Crisis: Gas suppliers operate on a "no pay, no flow" basis. Bond papers don't pump gas. The argument ignores the fact that the grid remains on the verge of collapse because the form of payment (illiquid bonds) doesn't meet the needs of the suppliers. 3The "Flip-Flop" Reality: The government has announced "final settlements" in 2013, 2017, 2019, and 2023. By focusing on the 2025/2026 timeline, the author ignores the historical pattern of the government promising a clean slate and then immediately falling back into arrears. Conclusion: The argument is a condescending distraction. It treats a national energy emergency as a "gotcha" moment over Google Search results. It fails to address the fundamental question: Why, after multiple "settlements," does the debt continue to grow while the lights stay off?
