There is significant incorrect information circulating about the rescue operation of the second USAF F-15E crew member in Iran. The MC-130s did not land in the middle of a farm as this guy claims—they landed on an agricultural runway near Shahreza. The MH-6M helicopters did not move toward nearby mountains; they flew a hundred of kilometers south toward Kuh-e-Siyah in Dehdasht County. AFSOC does not use Dash-8 aircraft for special forces exfiltration—C-295W platforms are used instead. The MC-130J/HC-130J reported as lost in Shahreza did not stuck into the ground. One was damaged by enemy fire, and the other faced critical fuel limitations. Both were deliberately destroyed on the ground after crews and special operations personnel were evacuated, as security forces of the Islamic regime were approaching the site and posed an immediate threat. BREAKING: In addition to the destruction of at least one HC-130J Combat King II of the U.S. Air Force inside Iran, at least a pair of MH-6M Little Bird helicopters of the 160th SOAR, used by U.S. Army Special Forces (Delta Force) during last night’s operation to rescue second F-15E crew, were also destroyed by U.S. forces. The remains of these helicopters can be seen at the FARP site, which was subsequently struck to deny access to equipment and systems. My photos of one of the MC-130J Commando II, a U.S. Air Force special operations aircraft involved in the rescue mission of the second crew member of the downed F-15E of the 494th Fighter Squadron deep inside Iran. These were taken before launch of Operation Epic Fury at an undisclosed location. These aircraft must be valued at the same level as the people who operate them. Their lives matter. They are not built to be used only once in combat. CSAR mission commanders must use them in a way that avoids such losses. Unfortunately, two of these aircraft were destroyed in Iran today. Their crews risk everything to save lives—protecting these aircraft ensures they can continue to do so. #OperationEpicFury #OperationLionsRoar

También se han publicado las primeras fotos de los dos C-130 destruidos por soldados norteamericanos en suelo iraní para evitar su captura. Poco van a poder aprovechar de ahí, han sido pulverizados.
