@UKMTB_Chat Ride when you can, just get out, if you're in two minds, go out and ride, you'll never regret it, the best rides come when you least expect them
As most of you here are experienced riders I thought it would be nice to have a post with hints and tips for the new riders amongst us.
What advice would you have appreciated when starting out?

@Absolutemtb1 Not much to choose with gears, got mechanical and electric of both, no issues with any of them. Brakes though I've never really got on with Sram, so Shimano for me (or Hayes)
@mason_tweet Replace the fuse with one the same size, see how it goes, the fuse is there to protect the dishwasher. Sometimes it can be a one off, If it blows again then get an engineer out etc.
Boring question for the little people inside my phone.
If a dishwasher blew the fuse in its plug, would you replace the fuse and plug and trust it again? Or would ypu assume it has an issue that means its likely to just do it again?
I’ve been ill all week, I’ve got a stinking cold. I’ve not ridden or been to the gym since Tuesday.
Show me your riding pics from the week to make me jealous! 😎🤙👇
Social media is becoming more and more toxic.
Let’s brighten people’s timelines by sharing a pic that you took and love. It doesn’t have to be bikes (but bonus points if it is)
I’ll start 😎🤙👇
You know that point where everyone stops to take a picture of ladybower.. can someone point it out on a map for me as want to see if we can walk there this weekend..
Sincere apologies to those who attended tonight, please keep your ticket as we'll be looking at what we can do as a club to offset the disappointment of tonight.
To clarify, goose excrement was found on the pitch during the warm up, which has never happened before. 1/2
With a whole host of changes happening within MTB this past year, I think one of the worst for me was the demise of CRC/Wiggle. I had friends that worked there & they were dedicated, hardworking bike people. But the fact that Vitus bikes went with them is truly disappointing 1/2
