@RotoKyleNBA I reckon just all teams that miss the playoffs get the same odds. Maybe even include the teams that lose the first round of playoffs.

One rule could end tanking in a second. If you purposefully lose games/tank, as several organizations are doing at unprecedented levels this season: You don't get a 1st Round Pick the next draft. Take away the incentive. No one would tank.

Just in: The NBA will hold a vote at the Board of Governors meetings March 24-25 to explore adding expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, with the two franchises targeted for the 2028-29 season, sources tell ESPN. There is momentum for stakeholders to approve surveying what industry executives project will be bids in the $7-to-$10 billion range for each team.

I think people are significantly overvaluing the draft as a means to team success. Of the 200 players drafted in the top 10 between 2001-2020 only 7 won a Championship with the team they were drafted.

Get rid of the gather step (or at least interpret it the way it was pre-2000s). 5. Start games at the listed time. 6. Reduce the number of team-called timeouts. 7. Zero video reviews by the officials at the game. All reviews are sent to the replay center, which has no more than 30 seconds (OK, maybe 60) to relay the call back to the arena. 8. Bring back prep-to-pro prospects. 9. Create a block-charge committee to look at that mess. Expand the restricted area, change how late the defender can slide under the offensive player. Something's gotta give. 10. Let's at least discuss the Elam ending.
