Fungal Disease Affecting Pine Trees in Alabama

From February 24-March 4, the AFC responded to 416 wildfires covering 10,711 acres. This made up 60% of fires and 65% of acreage for 2025. On Tuesday, March 4 alone AFC responded to a record-setting 181 fires marking the busiest day for our wildfire response team in 20 years.
