@byrnes44 @GigaBasedDad You’re using OT examples, avoiding the difference Christ made by sacrificing Himself for us. God had to do things differently before Jesus and I think you understand that. This is a fruitless debate because you refuse to recognize Jesus for who He is and what He’s done.

What about that negates anyone from advocating? Interceding has a broader definition than what you’re giving it. Isaiah 59:16 “And He saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede;” Numbers 21:7 “So the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and you; intercede with the Lord, that He may remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.” Jesus is the Word, and before his words were written, they were spoken. Oral tradition was the only Word of God for 300 years. And you expect me to believe that the Bible made null and void 300 years of tradition started by Jesus? The Bible was added to the Church; the Church wasn’t added to the Bible.
