Nothing exposes how selfish & inconsiderate some men can be like this. Begs for a baby, watches her body stretch & sacrifice for HIS child, then h!ts her with 'I'm not attracted anymore' like she owes him a magazine body forever. You wanted the child. You got the child. Now suddenly her health & changes are a problem? The same body that carried your legacy is now 'unattractive'? Selfish. Inconsiderate. Weak. Real men protect & uplift the mother of their children, not shàme her for the very thing they demanded.

I went and watched this video in its full entirety. He ultimately said that he’s not attracted to the weight gain as well as her habits that are leading to said gain (she doesn’t work or exercise) + he’s not attracted to the potential future picture (her not being around for her kids because future health problems taking her out the game of life). He even suggests she go with him to the gym & she STILL deflected.

Three statements. One is false 1. JWT can be used without OAuth 2.0 2. OAuth 2.0 always requires a JWT token 3. A JWT payload is Base64 encoded, not encrypted by default Which one is the lie?

@OfficialSamkayz I’ve had to deal with a lot of them 😅 They don’t know much about what’s happening behind their little third party libraries, yet they feel authoritative talking about these things and won’t even try to learn.

JS-centric devs are one of the ignorant yet loud-mouthed devs you can ever come across They believe software engineering starts and end in JS and would even argue JS is best for anything you throw at it Lol

It was when Javascript developer said, "Representing money in cent is the standard." That's when I stop arguing with them. I ask them, "If i have 1 trillion in my account, how do i represent that in my DB?" He then said; 1trn * 100😆 Java BigDecimal solved that effortlessly

@Raynerdtech Node is still powerful and can give you great opportunities. With nest js most modern fintechs are adopting it

Most of the companies mentioned here core languages are Java and C++ (and yeah, Uber is more Go + Java heavy) The only one where JavaScript/Node.js is actually a core part is Trello Saying these companies are “built with Node.js” is like saying the onions you added to your noodles is what makes it noodles 🤌🏾
fidexCode@fidexcode

Netflix is built with node JS LinkedIn is built with node JS PayPal is built with node JS Uber is built with node JS Walmart is built with node JS eBay is built with node JS Trello is built with node JS Medium is built with node JS Whatever opportunity, C#, C++, Java, and the likes will offer you, node JS will equally offer you the same opportunity. It is all about positioning and connections. Added that node JS is easier to learn.

Sql db migrations depend on ORM?
Seun@classic_servers

@callmidavid it does not run migration automatically it just adds updated keys to the new record Migration means all records past will be updated with the new keys check out this package to run migrations in mongo db ts-migrate-mongoose Now, sql db, it depends on the orm, typeorm or sequelise

Was conversing with someone some days ago, and he said he wouldn’t rate people who build fintech solutions with JavaScript, more specifically the Node.js ecosystem. He advised pivoting to Java or maybe C#, claiming they are “more secure.” That made me ask this question: what do you actually understand by the term “secure app”? And do you think his stance on building fintech solutions in the Node.js space is actually valid?

There’s a roadmap change guys: So I had a proper draft of how we are to go about it and this is it. I’m very sure this would be very self sufficient. So for the 90-Day Backend Roadmap, the summary of everything to be covered is this (Relational DB + Auth + RBAC + Payments + Redis + Queues). But still, down below is the detailed path of how everything will be covered step by step across the phases. Before you continue looking through the whole roadmap ensure you share this so those people also get a hold of it.
