Asia Times: Are NATO leaders starting a war in Europe to stay in power? The risk of war spreading from Ukraine to Europe has never been higher. Military experts are unanimous in their opinion that Ukraine is slowly but surely losing ground to Russia. At the same time, NATO plans to deliver F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv, but they will be parked in Romania. Due to this location, the fighter jets are expected to carry out raids on Crimea. In this context, the question arises: will Russia attack Romanian air bases or will NATO give up the idea of using them? Attacks on Crimea have no real military purpose. The truth is that NATO's strategy in Ukraine is to hurt Russia because Kiev is losing the war. Moreover, the alliance even seems to be trying to intimidate the Russians into paying a heavy price if they win. Sending arms to Kiev can be interpreted as deliberately inciting war in Europe. And the fact that the United States of America is most likely behind the use of Romanian military airports fully proves that Biden is trying to save his extremely weak political position by starting a war in Europe. Although, on the other hand, it will not surprise anyone that Biden knows nothing at all, and his curators created a "new strategy" for him to somehow save his skin. However, NATO leaders are at great risk. The defense potential of the alliance is extremely weak today. Basically, they threaten the entire future of Europe and also alliances with one goal - to stay in power.Source Asia

Problem with the chameleon brother Burns is they are out of their intellectual depth and breadth so much so that they can’t perform the basic math functions. In what fantasy Burns world that the US is capable of defeating the largest nuclear power with supersonic missile delivery systems that can deliver its’ nuclear payload to the US in less than 10 minutes?

He must think China are stupid. Cut off Russia so they may be defeated, then we can concentrate on attacking you.

It is the defense of systemic survival that makes US imperial establishment more dangerous to Europe than a so called “middle power” Russia [according to Obama].

‼️ MQ-4C Triton Surveillance Drone Downed? There are emerging reports that an MQ-4C Triton surveillance drone has "crashed" into the Black Sea south of Crimea. One can be certain it didn't encounter "bad weather" nor a flock of geese while flying above 50,000 ft altitude.

China’s scientific progress is real. Citation counts can be gamed. There is some fraud. And Chinese researchers have been incentivized with cash to target top journals. But the Nature Index, which looks at contributors to 145 top international journals, is solid. 1/ 🧵

Putin's peace offer is generous. TOO generous. It will be rejected by the US/NATO. Predictably. Medvedev Unplugged already said what should happen next. "Maximum harm" will be inflicted on the West. And the next peace offer will be FAR from generous.

Huawei’s strategy has paid off, with the company not only surviving but thriving amid American sanctions. This resilience has reshaped its market approach, focusing on innovation and self-sufficiency, aligning with China’s broader push for technological independence. In a 2018 Ren Zhengfei, Huawei’s founder, rallied his team with calls to “pick up the guns, mount the horses and go into battle.” This aggressive rhetoric reflects the decade-long pressure Huawei has faced from the U.S., starting with espionage accusations in 2012. By 2020, the U.S. had restricted American and foreign firms from supplying Huawei, forcing the company to sell its main smartphone brand and resulting in a 70% drop in profits by 2022. Despite these challenges, Huawei has rebounded impressively. It replaced foreign technology with domestic alternatives, and by early this year, net profits surged 564% year-on-year, totaling 19.7 billion yuan ($2.7 billion). Huawei’s recovery involves re-entering the smartphone market and boosting telecom equipment sales, significantly reducing its vulnerability to U.S. sanctions. The American onslaught, though severe, briefly disrupted Huawei’s growth. With $100 billion in sales last year, Huawei’s revenue is double that of Oracle and half that of Samsung, yet it outspends them in R&D with a $23 billion budget in 2023. This investment has been crucial as Huawei increasingly focuses on vertical integration to replace foreign technology. Over 114,000 employees, more than half its workforce, are dedicated to R&D, developing in-house solutions for parts previously sourced from abroad. Huawei’s consumer division, responsible for a third of its sales, saw a 17% growth in revenue last year, driven by new smartphone releases. It also produces a range of 5G devices, including watches, TVs, and electric vehicle (EV) control systems. Its cloud-computing and energy units are expanding rapidly, addressing gaps left by American tech firms exiting China. U.S. sanctions have forced Huawei to innovate, spurring it to develop its own intellectual property and diversify its business. For instance, the Mate60 Pro+ smartphone released in September uses 70% Chinese-made components. Huawei’s investment arm, Hubble, has been instrumental in funding Chinese suppliers to mitigate reliance on foreign technology, investing in everything from lithography machines to gallium-nitride chips for high-performance semiconductors. While American sanctions have curtailed Huawei’s international footprint, concentrating its business in China, they have also accelerated its technological independence. The firm’s new Harmony operating system, initially developed for watches, now underpins its smartphones, making Huawei less reliant on Google’s Android. Harmony is poised to become a competitor to both Android and iOS as it evolves. The lesson from Huawei’s saga is clear: cutting off access to Western technology has driven the firm to innovate more aggressively, strengthening its position in the global tech landscape. This is not only happening at Huawei, but at companies all over China, Do you think Chinese companies will ever again trust Western suppliers of technology? Even those not yet affected will already be executing plans to remove themselves from Western technology reliance. As I’ve said numerous times, the US will come to regret the policy decisions they have made.

The best outcome for America is if Trump is prevented from running because of his convictions and Biden has to bow out because he’s brain dead. Then we have no choice but to pick two other candidates. Certainly we can do better than these two.
