We are so proud to have raised £3416 for @TheBHF ❤️ On 7th June, a team of us from @TorbaySDevonNHS Cath Lab trekked 26 miles around the South Devon Coast. It was tough but we kept each other motivated; smiling & laughing through the rain (& pain 😅!). Very proud 🥰

Alongside fellow local Lib Dem MPs, I’ve written to the Devon Integrated Care Board to formally urge them not to proceed with the Test of Change that would move primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (pPCI) procedures to Exeter. Torbay’s cardiologists have shared serious concerns about this proposal, and I believe patient safety must come first. I’ve called for a more inclusive approach—one that fully consults with Torbay & South Devon NHS Trust (TSDFT) before making decisions that could impact lives. This fight isn’t over. Sickening that a company who paid out huge bonuses then had to pay fines and compensation to customers due to a Cryptosporidium outbreak via their poorly maintained infrastructure are now stealing that money right back out of the pockets of their victims. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Today I have pressed the Health Secretary with an urgent question, requesting he meet with me and other local MPs to discuss the proposed relocation of coronary services from Torbay Hospital to Exeter. I'm deeply concerned this move risks patient safety for Torbay residents. I'm disappointed that my request for a meeting was declined. I'm now demanding meetings with local health bosses to directly address these concerns. Watch below

Beautiful surprise for my Birthday tomorrow from the best team 🥹🥰❤️ My heart is so full 😭🫰🏻 I love organising activities for our team, we've become such a close-knit group and our socials are very well loved. Seeing them all happy and smiling is the best gift 🥹

Spent yesterday in Bristol with the 2 girls who were by my side throughout our nursing degree! True friendship stands the tests of distance and time. It may have been a year since we were last together but it felt like we've never been apart 🥹 My cup, and heart, is so full ❤️
