@ryanbooz @GFritchey Best way to setup Postgres security. For example, setup a deployment role and assign a user to the role to do all deployments to Postgres. The same role would be in UAT and QA with different users? So a role owns the DB objects?

@ArmorDba @GFritchey Can you be slightly more specific what you mean by "Postgres security"? Are you talking how to authenticate Flyway with Postgres, or how to deal with roles/privileges of created objects?

@ShakesandBerry @BuzzPatterson All pilots, no matter race or gender have the same requirements. There is not a difference of training. You get the flying hours and pass all the training, you can pilot a commercial airliner. There is no DEI skating in.

The Toronto crash is going to reveal a lot to the American flying public. Especially, as it regards mainline carriers (Delta, United, American, etc) and their reliance on regional carriers (Endeavor, Skywest, etc) to carry their brand. For example, the Toronto crash was flown for Delta Air Lines by Endeavor Air. Regional carriers are, generally speaking, entry level positions for pilots and flight attendants. They are resume building. A pilot hired at 500 hours of flying experience, for example, won’t qualify for the major carriers until they have at least 1500 hours (and the average is actually much, much higher). The other option for training and experience is the military (which is the route I took). The training departments are different as well, as are the types of aircraft they fly. We’ll get into this more as we go forward. For now, just know that when you book a flight, it may be a combination of carriers, aircraft, and various pilot qualifications. Signed, Retired Delta Pilot

@ArmorDba @GFritchey Great question. There is not a specific naming convention that I've seen, at least not for prefixes. 'pg_*' is essentially used for all core PG functions, views, etc. The one thing to remember is that Postgres object names have a 63 character limit.

#SQLHelp, just an FYI, our UAT SQL Server 2019 got autopatched with KB5039217, and it broke the availability group and WSFC. SQL Server instance would not start. The system got into a circular loop failure. Uninstalling the patch fixed the system. @BrentO
