@bruhenfer02 @MRFahrenheit123 Lucan and Kreeg before Earth: Nolan is a weakling and a traitor. I can't believe we ever considered him one of our best.
Lucan and Kreeg after six weeks on Earth:

English

@HansFiene He was a carpenter by trade, though, and did a lot of stuff with moving water. A beaver is a strong contender.

@tartarus_MoE @Les_Bien_Pain @DeltanOptima @PigLazer Israel has a nuclear arsenal of its own though? Only like 90 warheads but that’s still enough to wipe out a large chunk of Chinese cities if they see ICBMs flying in from the east.
Personally I don’t think anyone’s getting nuked.
English

@AtomF11 @Les_Bien_Pain @DeltanOptima @PigLazer They may nuke israel to profit of us nuking iran so israel will not be a threat anymore for their alliés that are still on middle east. But i amso think they wont do anything especially if they saw nukes too late.

@Les_Bien_Pain @DeltanOptima @PigLazer The way I see it, why nuke anyone at all if you’re Russia/China? Is your nation’s existence worth avenging the Iranian gov’t?
Though I agree that whoever erases Dubai automatically has the moral high ground.
English

@AtomF11 @DeltanOptima @PigLazer Maybe they retaliate against one of the Gulf states, or rather US bases in the gulf states.
Tho they also get a lot of oil from there so not that likely either.
But if they nuke Dubai they could have the moral high ground.

@SKINNYTALLS @MrVanOosterhout @memeticsisyphus Momentum is always conserved in all physical interactions. It’s why you get recoil on a gun. The bullet goes out with force, and you experience an equal force diluted by the larger mass of you + the gun.
Same goes for rockets. It throws stuff behind it very fast and speeds up.
English

@MrVanOosterhout @memeticsisyphus Cool, smart guy.
Now explain to me what the rockets are pushing off of in the vacuum of space?
English

If you show them pictures they’ll say they’ve been doctored, if you show them video they’ll call it AI, if you show them expert testimony they’ll cry conspiracy, if you show them math they won’t understand it. They’re not skeptics, they’re believers in a falsehood that can’t be dislodged.

Dear No Moonies: If we never landed on the moon what is your explanation for these images taken by the Chandrayaan-2 probe from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), when it mapped the lunar surface in detail in 2021?
English

@DeltanOptima @PigLazer The whole idea behind a nuclear umbrella is that the providing country is willing to sacrifice themselves for their allies in the case of a nuclear war. NATO justifies that sacrifice by the US/UK/French. What justifies Iran for Russia/China? Not anything like NATO.
English

@DeltanOptima @PigLazer Basically nil. It’s the same strategic tension that led Britain and France to make nukes. Are the Americans really willing to sacrifice Pittsburgh for Paris? Probably, but not definitely.
In the same vein, are the Chinese willing to sacrifice Tianjin for Tehran?
Likely not.

“You” IS our formal/plural second person! Our casual one was “thou” but it’s been totally phased out. English isn’t missing usted - it’s missing tú!

This is a random thought, but as a Spanish speaker, it really bothers me that English doesn't have a word for "ustedes" and only uses "tú" (* ̄︿ ̄)
