@LoftusSteve We are very saddened to see the personal attacks on one of our former colleagues. She is a person with lived experience who has worked hard to advocate for others. Her comments were about the process of applying for PIP with anxiety-not about claiming for herself!

I find it truly astounding that this woman thinks it perfectly normal and acceptable to be claiming benefits for mild anxiety while TALKING ON LIVE TV. Nobody should get benefits for anxiety, especially those that can travel to a studio, sit in an audience and talk on TV.

The people I know with anxiety so bad that they cannot work, and there are definitely these people, could not sit on a national TV show as an audience member and ask a question of the panel in the glare of the TV cameras focused on them as they did so..
