@CoachTimmyHyde @YahooSports @DanWolken Can you seriously not see what is wrong with one team getting special treatment and being able to jump teams that are ranked higher? Based off this new rule y'all would have jumped Miami as the last team in even though you're ranked below them (and lost to them.) Asinine.

@YahooSports @DanWolken These AD’s do know if you beat ND they don’t get in? This is all dumb…ND only gets in if they win enough games to earn the right to get in. 9-3 ND is out…heck 10-2 was the 1st team out. Just more #NotreDame slander from our esteemed “journalists”

@DeItaone "Getting rid of the people who mooch off of taxpayers will hurt the economy." If this doesn't show how out of touch economists are with reality nothing will. Of course illegal immigrants spend more, they don't have to work or pay taxes, just collect welfare and spend it.

MASS DEPORTATION COULD HURT U.S. ECONOMY MORE THAN TARIFFS Trump's policies on immigration could have more of an economic impact than his promised tariffs, Capital Economics' Neil Shearing writes. He argues that plans to remove as many as 1 million undocumented immigrants each year could end up reducing economic growth "by around 1% a year." Immigration, he says, "has been a key reason why economic growth has kept relatively buoyant." Higher labor costs in sectors heavily reliant on migrant labor "would face a rise in costs that is likely to pass through into higher prices." Moreover, immigrants "spend too, and so demand would also weaken."

@Catdemort @thestateoflou Because he's not on the two-deep at Carolina. He's the #4 slot receiver, making him #9 or #10 overall on the depth chart. He wouldn't get any playing time.

@thestateoflou Why would he leave a better program, better quarterback, better conference, and all around better state to go back to Louisville?

Have seen the rumors about Ahmari Huggins-Bruce potentially joining the team. Zero idea of the validity of this but here’s what we do know: - August 23rd (Friday) is the last day to enroll in classes at UofL - August 20th (Tues) was the last day to drop at USC - AHB is not on the school’s Active Directory as of 10 AM on 8/21 - USC’s student directory is private If AHB were to return, he’d bring 3 years of experience, 1,188 career yards from scrimmage, and 11 career touchdowns. Upon his return, these would be the available jersey numbers for AHB: 6 12 19 23 24 27 28 29 30 31 34 35 40 41 42 43 44 46 48 92 94 95 96 97 99

@IsItOutEA Looks like a NCAA 14 reskin. Every tackle and offensive move (other than the WR getting his foot down inbounds) looked exactly like they did in NCAA 14 on a PS3

🔸 Cancer Is Striking More Young People, and Doctors Are Alarmed and Baffled Doctors are racing to figure out what is making them sick, and how to identify young people who are at high risk. They suspect that changes in the way we live -- less physical activity, more ultra-processed foods, new toxins -- have raised the risk for younger generations. wsj.com/health/healthc…

@treywallace @WVTM13 Oh no, some players committed the unforgivable act of talking in a game notorious for talking. Now, if only they had been accessories to murder maybe Nate would overlook that.

@DeItaone The median US income is roughly $57,000 a year, NOT $78,642. So you'd have to spend 57% of your gross income on housing payments, not 41%. Wrong median income 78,642 x .414= 32,557.79 per year. Correct median income 32,557.79 ÷ 57,000= 57.1% of income

🔸 2023 has been the least affordable year to buy a home in Redfin’s records Someone making the $78,642 median U.S. income in 2023 would’ve had to spend 41.4% of their earnings on monthly housing costs if they bought the $408,806 median-priced U.S. home. That’s the highest share on record and is up from 38.7% in 2022 The typical 2023 homebuyer needed to earn an annual income of at least $109,868 if they wanted to spend no more than 30% of their earnings on monthly housing payments for the median-priced home. That’s a record high—up 8.5% from 2022—and is $31,226 more than the typical household makes in a year redfin.com/news/housing-a…

🇺🇦 The U.S. funding system for Ukrainian salaries and Kyiv government expenditures is expected to run out in the next month absent a fresh infusion of money from Congress, Ukrainian and American government officials said. The U.S. and other donor nations effectively pay the salaries of 150,000 civil servants in Ukraine and more than half a million teachers, professors and school workers, not to mention government expenses ranging from health care to housing subsidies. wsj.com/world/europe/u…
