@Alka_FPS I kinda thought this same thing. But I remember at the start of Y10 everyone thought the game was saved and they went back to the same slop a season later. I won't trust it till I see consistent results for multiple seasons

I play siege for 10 years ---> never fix their game *leaves the game before year 11* The second that year 11 releases ---> they fix every issue in their game Do i come back to siege?😭

This has literally verbatim been said before. And the promise of more resources going to cheating has been made before and we ended up in a WAY worse position. Until there is actually improvement there is no reason to take these statements seriously at all.

@BeastModPlayer I tried so hard man. If you or anyone else wants to hear/record the story of a small creator that ended up with insane metrics and was used as a content farm for HUGE creators just to remain in a struggle let me know (:

Literally every single smaller creator in the siege scene I came up with either had to quit making siege content, like myself, or get a job because of how bad the game is performing. Luckily I have things going for me outside of content so it won't kill me, but this is why so many creators are saying its dying. The game needs a complete shift in the way the executives look at the game. We need WAY more content and most don't see Ubisoft as capable of bringing it back. Can we blame them with their track record?

@Dezachu I also think that the CS2 premier map banning system could work as well. I've really enjoyed playing with it and it still offers enough variety to keep things interesting

I'd really love Siege to take Overwatch's map pick/ban system in ranked. Banning in Siege feels frustrating because you can ban the two "worst" choices and end up with the 3rd worst anyway. Your choice feels limited and it's even worse when both teams ban the same map. In Overwatch, rather than voting to BAN a map, you vote to PICK one of 3 maps. If 9 players pick one map and 1 player picks another, there's a 90% chance you get the first map and a 10% chance you get the second. The wheel gets spun and wherever it lands is where you play. Overwatch also appears to select the maps to be offered to the players based on how long ago each player last played each map in the pool. You can play Overwatch for hours and not see the same map twice - it's excellent. Under this system, you might end up on a map you don't like but at least you know it was a result of player choice and NOT the system picking between 3 or 4 maps for you.

I genuinely haven't enjoyed grinding youtube as much as I have over the past few months. Sure restarting is rough mentally, but getting to make videos on what I want and being able to push myself creatively has brought that spark back that making Siege content killed.

Yeah I've said this for a while. Even though I'm not a Siege content creator anymore, I still care for the community. If we want actual change their has to be a boycott. Stop buying stuff or playing the game. Move to Battlefield or Valorant or CS, just don't support Siege.

i think enough time has passed that i finally speak on this, (referring to my castle joke so people don’t think i’ve done anything more) what i did was wrong and ive learnt and changed for the better and matured so i dont want to sound like im defending what i did, cause i dont defend it at all, the point i want to get into is i feel the punishment i got was way too harsh and almost feels corrupted in a way i dont want to name names and drag anyone down but its public knowledge and these creators themselves have learnt from their mistakes etc. we’re all human, my point is directed more towards the higher ups and how they treated others vs how they treated me but to my point, there are other creators in the space who have done equally as bad and others who without a doubt have done worse, i dont wanna go into too much detail and call people out but maybe people already know what im referring to. one of the many examples, that surprises me the most is someone in the space quite literally saying the n word and they got a 180 day ban and then that was it, once again no hate to this person and they learnt from it, it’s about how ubisoft handled it vs how they handled me, doesn’t make any sense. what i did was stupid and dumb but when you compare what i did to others it’s almost not even comparable but whats my punishment? Charm removed 923 days ago, Not allowed any drops for the last 923 days, not allowed to watch pro league on stream, list goes on. am i going crazy here or? even if its just drops or something pls idk

Obviously Siege will always be my favorite game from a core gameplay perspective, but it is literally miserable to play and has been for years. I think its cope to pretend that Siege can still compete with any other shooter on the market in its current state

Battlefield 6 is the better game because when you boot it up you can actually play it. When you play Siege X you get cheaters, lag and horrible stuttering, game breaking bugs, and hit registration that is some of the worst I've seen. When you play Battlefield you get an enjoyable experience that is actually playable.
