You're 25. Goal: ₹5 Crore by 35. Assumption: 15% annual return with SIP + 10% yearly step-up. Here's the math: Start SIP: ₹90,000 per month Increase SIP by 10% every year Year 1: ₹90K Year 2: ₹99K Year 3: ₹1.09L Year 4: ₹1.20L Year 5: ₹1.32L Year 6: ₹1.45L Year 7: ₹1.59L Year 8: ₹1.75L Year 9: ₹1.93L Year 10: ₹2.12L Total invested in 10 years: ₹1.72 Cr Portfolio value at 15%: ₹ 5 Cr Which means: If you earn around ₹2.5L to ₹3L monthly and invest 30–40% with a yearly step-up, ₹5 Crore in 10 years is mathematically possible.

How did investors build wealth in the past? By buying high-growth companies at low valuations. For example: Paying a PE of 16–20 for a company growing at 25% annually with a 25% ROCE. That’s how fortunes were made.

I prefer to understand business in this form and invest with a long term perspective- 1- 10 years ago, NP was- 145 crores 2- 4 years ago, NP was- 671 crores 3- Last year, NP was- 2029 crores. NP is from operating business. Now the most important question- can the company continue to grow at this pace of 25-30% CAGR for coming 5-10 years as PEG is just one. In other words- Potential NP could be 5000-6000 crores in 5 years and 15000-20000 crores in next 10 years if so, stay invested and don’t worry yourself with day to day ups and downs. It is challenging to sail through successfully in the volatile market but it is quite possible.

An act of service is far more powerful than lighting thousands of firecrackers for a few minutes of entertainment while harming innocent living beings who cannot complain about the noise and pollution. Make this Diwali special for those who truly need it. Happy Diwali 🪔🪔

Tight stops are not a flex. They are a necessity if you want to touch 1:5 and 1:10 trades. Let me explain why with easy math. Look at Indian stocks. Most swing moves happen in the 5% to 50% range. Around 20% is common. A stock usually gives one clean leg up, then pauses or corrects for a few days or even weeks before moving again. Now, if your stop is 8% and you’re aiming for 1:5, you need a straight 40% move without any meaningful pullback. For 1:10, you need an 80% clean move. That almost never happens. Most traders panic on a small intraday dip, let alone sitting through a multi-week correction. So what is the only practical way left to catch 1:5 or 1:10 without holding through painful corrections? You reduce your stop. From 8 to 6, then to 4, and gradually even lower. The key word here is gradually. Yes, smaller stops get hit more often. That is expected. That is where training comes in. Beginners jumping straight to 2% stops without understanding entries, exits, mindset etc. are setting themselves up for disaster. I did exactly that. I started wide and now comfortable with several small hits because I know one clean trade will pay for them all and put me way ahead. In short, if you want to trade swings without sitting through long corrections, you don’t really have a choice. Smaller stops are the only way the math works. #BroTip
