Happy 25th Final Fantasy VIII! FF8 was a commercial smash hit, but has been divisive with fans. Often praised for its state-of-the-art graphics and sound, and complex card mini game, the game is usually criticized for its unique junction-based combat, and surreal story elements.

Dragon Quest IV turns 34 today! The first in the "Zenithian Trilogy," the game is broken up into five distinct chapters each with their own protagonists. It also introduced the "tactics" feature, and the wagon, which allows for players to customize their party.
