@zhil_arf this kind of experiment does have a genuine point, but why did it need to be tested with dogs instead of a much simpler animal? why could they not use fish or flies for this kind of test? they have been proven to form the same kinds of memory links.

@BossIgnostic @esjesjesj I wouldn't use that Mark Rober video of evidence for that though. He was clearly setting up autopilot to fail and intentionally pushing the car through his "tests" to benefit his buddy's bankrupt lidar company.

Btw what happens is drivers see that autopilot is about to cause a crash and disengage it to try to stop the crash and it’s too late. Then tesla gets to say that autopilot wasn’t engaged

@dnyy3y @antarctickitten @one_byte_cafe Yeah for me that's always what it is. "Imagine if you dropped the baby. Imagine if you pulled the steering wheel and crossed into oncoming traffic" type stuff. Not pleasant or welcome but kind of understandable in a situation with real risks.
