Want to explore the kinetics literature but don't feel like reading? Watch a recording of my virtual defense titled "Analysis of Steady-State and Transient Chemical Rates in Molecular Interconversion": youtu.be/H9ViFn3CYOk Abstract below.

I am excited to share our recent paper titled “Clarifying mechanisms and kinetics of programmable catalysis”! Learn how dynamic catalysis works, it's prerequisites, and how Sabatier limits still exist during programmed catalysis! lnkd.in/eQPGG8WE

@DSBIC @pauldauenhauer I find writing unfavorable reviews to be much more work. Perhaps I just spend too much time actually trying to provide constructive feedback so the author can improve this and future works

@pauldauenhauer I could turn out 10 unfavorable reviews per day. Let’s do it!

Check out our latest work in @PNASNews! We redress the "blind spots" of the Langmuir-Hinshelwood formalism and find some very surprising results - namely that a single elementary step can be both equilibrated and rate-determining! (yes, at the same time) pnas.org/content/118/8/…

@mickeykats I would emphasize your point on talking to current AND FORMER students. The perspectives may be drastically different. The current student has never needed the profs help to find a job while the former student may not remember how grueling it was to work with a prof, for example.

Congratulations to PCC alumni, Jason Bates and Brandon Bukowski, for their collaborative effort on the effects of water and water-ethanol clusters on Bronsted acid catalyzed ethanol dehydration catalysis. doi.org/10.1039/D0SC02…
