Starting to think that the NHL offside rule is inconsistent on offense. Why does the blue line count as the zone when keeping the puck in, but a hard line you have to fully cross on entry? A small tweak would have helped the #LGRW last night. Presented by J.P. Wisers

I agree with those hoping to see him play a quiet, responsible game. Thing is, that’s not his style. He’s a boom or bust player. Manage him, but don’t limit him. Let him do his thing and run the powerplay.

So curious to see how they deploy Yakemchuk tonight. #GoSensGo I’d put him with Zub (Left) on the second pairing. Not ideal but you make the most of what you have. Yakemchuk can be a game-changer. Look at how Cole Hutson stepped up in his debut. Let the man cook.

Stephen Halliday, in limited minutes, always makes an impact. Whether it’s generating chances for his teammates or creating offense for himself, big red is an engine that never stops. Really hope to see him get some top six minutes eventually. Regardless - his development is a huge coup for the #Sens.

There are only six teams with a negative goals saved above expected on the penalty kill: 27. VGK (-1.3) 28. STL (-1.56) 29. ANA (-2.31) 30. VAN (-2.42) 31. SEA (-2.98) 32. OTT (-9.6) -6.62 more than any other team! Ottawa averages the second lowest xGA/60 on the PK but gives up the second most goals. Their formation is bad, but this is extremely telling. #GoSensGo
