@asalisbury Andy I’m going insane, do I need to unlock Vaults 1-6 to get 7 or is 7 just an in-run mechanic that doesn’t need a key. Because I have no idea how to do all vaults in one run or if it’s based on codex prog 😭

That’s awesome. It’s actually so difficult that it requires you to learn the map mechanic and understand how to leave. Not even the final exfil can save you. They cooked SO HARD. Very well done

We have seen some reports asking if the final exfil in Cryo Archive is not working because it does not show on the overhead map. Cryo Archive is the most dangerous place in Marathon, escape is not guaranteed. You will need to interact with the ship's systems before the timer runs out to make sure you can get off the ship alive. There is a final exfil but it's only a true last resort, not a reliable way off the ship. It is more elusive than typical final exfils on other less difficult zones, leading to more risk if players choose to take this option. It is hidden from the map and only gives you 60 seconds to find it.

Cryo archive is awesome but holy trying to find the way to an Exfil is impossible. The map does not help you or show you any way to get there. It’s all gonna come down to just muscle memory, while avoiding 100 purple guys 😭😭😭

@CharOnTwitch and I said the exact same thing. It would be awesome to have a weekend only map where you can test out all your builds and high tier loot and then take Monday-Thursdays to get it all back and go again on the weekend! Makes it more exciting to look forward each run

Played #Marathon for 10 hours straight and never got bored. I know why I like it now. It’s a rouge-like that’s hardcore. Every run is different and you never know what you will find, that’s what makes it fun and exciting. Some runs are 3mins long while others take all 25mins.

Went in with 8 grenades and was able to take down an entire team but none of those grenades confirmed a kill, I won’t peak again until cryo archive 😭

Wait until people get to the Contested Contract. Been trying to get to Bio-Research all day and every time I grab the samples I get quadrupled partied and it’s impossible to get to a Decon when it’s thermal snipers and theifs taking the quest item out my inventory with drones😭

If they want build crafting to feel personal, remove the restriction of being head, toroso and legs. One body, So it goes in each slot, but it doesn’t force you to use certain types because some implant combos are really cool but take the same slot which removes creative builds

If there are always contracts to be completed to rank up factions and thus rank up your shells, why would someone choose to play as Rook? #Marathon

@Clintus Both methods prevent you from losing gear, but rook has a more fun approach since you are only solo and you can change the whole match, where doing a free kit is solo or team fill depending on what you choose. You still get faction XP which is great, contracts could be done later

@Clintus Cause when you go into a match with a free kit, it’s a 25 min game. Whereas rook can be 10-18mins which already makes the match mostly dead or 2 teams might be alive. This lets you find other players loot, hide from bots or make you feel like a god and take down a team of 3. 😅
