Conference realignment in CFB is absolutely hilarious. Sac State in the MAC Stanford & Cal in the Atlantic Coast Conference NIU in the Mountain West USC, UCLA, Oregon, & Washington in the BIG10 (which is the least weird but still feels kind of weird) Texas St in the PAC12

Sources: The MAC has voted to formally add FCS Sacramento State into the league as a football-only member starting in 2026. The cost of entrance is expected to be $18 million and a deal is expected to be announced in the upcoming days.

@CollegeCrew I don’t understand it either because I agree with you, money driven is the only thing I can think of, NDSU thinks they’ll make more TV money and they probably will, but will no longer be a perennial top five team like they were at FCS
