What evidence is there that the covenant in Dan 9:27 is the same as the new covenant in Jer 31:31 (and Heb 8&10). And why would he confirm the everlasting covenant for one week. Also, the 70AD temple destruction is not the one prophesied in the gospels …see linked post below x.com/causetoknow/st…

The covenant in Daniel 9:27 is the everlasting covenant He confirmed in Jeremiah 31:31. Matthew 24:15 is concerning 1st century Apostate Israel, and the impending judgements due to their covenant unfaithfulness. It was the end of the 2nd temple period, and a repeat of the covenant judgements (sword, famine, pestilence) that occurred in the 1st temple desolation (586 BC). Jesus was using apocalyptic and idiomatic language, referring back to Ezekiel 5:9 and the surrounding context. Luke’s account of the Olivet Discourse clarifies for 1st century Gentiles what is meant by "when you see the abomination of desolation, standing…." 1st century Gentiles were not familiar with apocalyptic language or Hebraic idioms. So Luke rephrases the Olivet Discourse in plain language. Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem in 66-70 AD. Cestius Gallus briefly withdrew the Roman army, providing an opportunity for Jesus’s followers to "flee to the mountains." Those who remained in Jerusalem, "fell by edge of sword and were led away captive to all nations." Luke 21:24. The diaspora lasted nearly 2000 years. Future events, including His return, are in Revelation.

Somehow HS pressed me to fill my (( work )) in ministry gifting of mercy and evangelism . It was costly It is costly now in my chair witnessing to my helpers. I’ve complained much about this ministry and just last night heard from heaven. Isaiah 41:10 It was so good to hear anything. I spend 19 hours a day pretty much isolated unless I reach out to old friends. You know the motto of the day” too busy!!! “ I think of others , even Paul and John who complained of being left… Learning things I never knew before. If you consider that “ work” I guess I’ve done/ doing my work.

I agree. King David setting up captains of 1000’s and 100’s comes to mind Matthew 25:21 KJVS His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

They sure might be ruling throughout the 1000 years, but it’s also possible they are simply pronouncing judgement over the 12 tribes (the temporarily blinded Israel from Rom 11) …similar to those judges who are judging the martyrs in Rev 20:4. Those martyrs lived and reigned with Christ

That’s funny. I thought it was somehow a reference to I AM. Thanks for clarifying that. Seems to me that if God was a dispensationalist, he would have used the word more …and in such a way that it didn’t look like something was being dispensed (i.e. given out) …like the gospel or grace or Paul’s job as minister of the church. Anyone else see that?

I’ll pose this for consideration: All ethnic Israel will not be saved. Jews that believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God are elect and obviously saved Those temporarily blinded Jews (Rom 11:7) worshipped God via the old covenant. When Christ came, they rejected him — they stumbled at the stumblingstone. But they will be saved in the 70th week. Now the controversial part. I believe there are ethnic Jews that have rejected God altogether. They have no desire to be in covenant with God — either the old or new. They have effectively been cut off from the nation Israel. And since they have been cut off, it is still true that all Israel shall be saved. Judas Iscariot comes to mind with this group of Jews …not to mention Ahab and Jezebel, etc

There’s a pretty simple answer. “All Israel saved” of Romans 11:26 is defined way back up in Romans 11:7. There will come a time in the last generation when all ethnic Israel is indeed saved… Either by the rapture of the elect Jews per Matt 24:31 OR by the repentance and purifying of left behind Israel in accordance with Zachariah 13:8–9.

Galatians 3:29 KJVS And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. We become heirs to the kingdom of God …the promise God made to Abraham in Gen 15:18. OT and NT believers inherit the kingdom of God by virtue of the Abrahamic covenant …by grace thru faith

And for that reason as well as many others, is why I hold to a pre-trib rapture bc the BOC is In Christ, not in Israel nor “spiritual Israel” which is a man-made term.

I’ve enjoined the church to Israel not with regard to the Mosaic law …but with regard to the new covenant. Heb 7:19 tells us the law made nothing perfect. And earlier in Rom 4, Paul hammers home the point that righteousness cannot come by the law …circumcised or not. So v16 starts out just like we would expect — the promise is to the seed by grace thru faith. Check! BUT then, we read “not to that only which is of the law.” But that doesn’t fit with what Paul has been saying all throughout Rom 4. But then we remember Gal 3:16: Jesus was THE seed to whom the promise was made. And we know that Jesus was of the law …circumcised the eighth day …came to fulfill the law, etc. And suddenly, v16 makes perfect sense: Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to [Jesus] only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all” The promise was no longer only to THE seed — Jesus. By grace thru our faith, we are now in Christ and made the seed of Abraham …and are made heirs to the kingdom of God Galatians 3:29 KJVS And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. One other point on this. The law came 430 years after the promise to Abraham. If Rom 4:16 is saying the Jews received the promise by the law, then the 12 sons of Jacob (and their sons and grandsons until Moses) could not have received the promise …because there was no law to keep

So 42 months is 3 1/2 years. Would this 3 1/2 years also begin with the treaty with many that is later confirmed by the AC? Remember, the AC doesn’t need to initiate the treaty, the AC only needs to later CONFIRM the treaty with many for one 7. So the start date of that confirmed treaty may be a start date that has already begun.
