Armenia is reshaping transportation in the region. It’s becoming the regional transport hub. Wizz Air is adding more flights from Armenia to European countries. Starting in October, passengers will be able to fly from Yerevan to Eindhoven, Netherlands. In February 2027, flights from Yerevan will be added to Brussels, Belgium. The airline is also increasing its dedicated fleet size in Armenia from two permanent planes to three. This will allow for far more weekly flights to more European and Central Asian countries in the future. Wizz Air’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ian Malin, announced “…Today’s good news is that our fleet in Armenia will grow from two planes to three. With this, we are opening two new routes—Eindhoven and Brussels. Flights to Eindhoven will operate three times a week starting in October, and flights to Brussels, also three times a week, starting in February.”

People bicker over whether to call this “third-worldism,” but you do see common propaganda threads here and elsewhere: the ideology is resentment-driven, civilization-skeptical, and obsessed with upending, cathartic violence enacted by the “historically downtrodden” (ie “wretched of the earth”).

Just 24 hours later from this post, and we have Pashinyan fighting the ghost of Stalin. "The model of patriotism we have lived by was created for us by Stalin, who said, "Armenian people, you must be like this." We are rejecting "Stalin's boot" model of patriotism."

Turkish Woman Takes DNA Test, Realizes She’s Not Turkish But 53.9% Armenian, 34.7% Georgian & 8.8% South Italian ➖➖➖ A video has gone viral on social media showing a Turkish woman reacting after discovering through her ancestry DNA test results that she is not Turkish but 53.9% Armenian, 34.7% Georgian, 8.8% South Italian, 1.4% Greek/Albanian, and 1.2% Persian/Kurdish. The results have sparked fresh discussion online, highlighting the deep ethnic diversity that exists within Turkey despite the country’s long-standing emphasis on a singular national identity. Though she still identifies as Turkish, the test showed no genetic connection to the original Turkic peoples of Central Asia. While DNA-based ancestry kits have exploded in popularity globally, in Turkey the direct-to-consumer ancestry DNA kits are effectively banned or heavily regulated, with citizens often forced to rely on foreign laboratories or legal intermediaries to obtain testing, according to Hellenic Daily News. The government’s restrictions stem from long-standing sensitivities around ethnicity and national identity. Turkey’s modern population descends from a complex blend of Anatolian, Caucasian, and Balkan peoples, yet official narratives have historically emphasized a singular “Turkish” identity. Viral stories like this one challenge that notion and highlight the region’s diverse ancestral roots, including significant Armenian and Georgian heritage often obscured by decades of assimilation policies.

The Sino-Vietnameae War was one of the most pointless wars that lasted all the way up to 1991, yet it is incredibly interesting
