The Canadian flag at our station has been lowered to half mast to honour the life of Constable Rick O'Brien who was shot and killed while executing a search warrant in BC on Friday September 22nd 2023. #heroesinlife

We are happy to announce that Cst CLARK, Cst MARTIN, Cst ARCHAMBAULT and Cst TIENHARRA are our new Bike Patrol Officers. They have completed a 4 day course that was held in Owen Sound this week. Cst CLARK will be out on the bike during the Huron Shores Run today.

Victoria Day Weekend Traffic Campaign Saugeen Shores experiences a sharp increase in traffic during the lead up week to the holiday weekend. Special attention will be paid to impaired driving, aggressive driving and speeding. This traffic campaign runs from May 15-22 #ssps2023

It is with heavy hearts that we learn of the tragic murder of Sgt. Eric Mueller, and the injuring of 2 other OPP officers who were serving & protecting their community. On behalf of @SSPSofficial , we offer our condolences to the family, friends & colleagues.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I regretfully advise that OPP Sgt. Eric Mueller has been killed in the line of duty. We anxiously await for further word on his fellow officers who are still at hospital. Our thoughts are with the officers, their families and colleagues.
