Today, I joined the National Chairman and members of the National Working Committee to receive my former colleague in the Senate, Distinguished Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani, into our great party, the NDC. I thanked her for believing in our vision for a new Nigeria and in a different kind of politics anchored on ideology, service, inclusion, and national development. We also used the occasion to call on Nigerian women across the country to join the NDC, a party that recognises and values the vital role of women and youths in nation-building. I urged them to rise and embrace the NDC as a platform for service, leadership, and positive change in Nigeria. It is because of our deep commitment to inclusion that, at our very first NEC meeting, the NDC adopted affirmative action for women. We therefore invite women across Nigeria to use the NDC platform to break barriers, shatter glass ceilings, and aspire to all elective offices as well as leadership positions within the party. I have always been known as an advocate for women’s inclusion, empowerment, and development. Today, I am proud that the NDC is providing a credible vehicle to advance that cause on a national scale. We warmly welcomed Senator Binani and wished her success in this new chapter. We gave her the mantle of leadership and entrusted her with the responsibility of working with the State Chairman, party leaders, and stakeholders in Adamawa State to build consensus, promote unity, deepen inclusion, and work for the good people of the state. Sign of trouble for APGA, you run. Wahala never start for PDP, you run. Labour faces the perturbations of becoming a mainstream party, you run. ADC advancing toward its primaries, you run. Look at their faces. They are with ADC, but their minds are with other parties. The same persons divided the PDP votes for Tinubu to win in 2023.

Look at Rotimi Amaechi. He is not saying he should be handed the ticket, he is saying “let’s go to the primaries and have the people decide”. And that’s Amaechi whose leadership boots Peter Obi cannot begin to lace. There‘s a reason Atiku posted Amaechi’s leadership pedigree earlier in the week. Lol.

The duo never said anything about the Ibadan Summit and have never said anything about the Supreme court pronouncement yesterday. They were actually waiting for the SC to sack Mark and Aregbesola as an excuse for them to join NDC. 😂😂

In 2023, Atiku blamed Wike, saying he was the reason why the PDP ticket wasn't zoned to the South, particularly to the South East. Now in 2026, I wonder who he is again going to blame for not zoning the ADC ticket to the South to complete their 8 years?

It is high time Peter Obi formed a new political party and stopped looking for the gold that doesn't undergo industrial processes.
