@0xGeeGee Racing is a business, that's capitalism. For your everyday analogy, it's like an iPhone with Siri using Gemini, or the chat app just for normal people

@ChristianCase The point is pretty much that you’d not use a formula 1 car to go to the supermarket, or for your vacations either pretty much Nobody questions the need for a formula 1 car for a race

We are getting to the point where this thesis gets one more validation every day. Yesterday, Together AI announced an investment from Aramco Ventures. Together AI is essentially a bet from Aramco that intelligence becomes commoditized, but that the infrastructure for producing and optimizing it can remain extremely valuable at the same time. Essentially, as open-weight models keep improving (and as the cost per unit of intelligence keeps collapsing) more companies will realize something simple: for many tasks, you do not need the absolute best model. Especially as companies and users become more cost-aware, that will inevitably push more usage toward open weights and cheaper models. At that point, we're playing into the "airlines scenario" with the visible product becoming increasingly competitive and commoditized, while a large part of the economic value migrates to the stack around it.

@0xGeeGee Obviously you can use a Toyota to finish a race, but the Formula 1 cars would have finished long before then, and eventually you won't have any sponsors because the TV broadcast will be over, and the people in the stands will already be home, and you'll be out of the competition

@bobbybanzai @Collector_Crypt When you said you were gonna stop talking about cards so much, what you really meant was ‘I’m tweeting about cards until the end of time’. Your whole feed is literally just that and nothing else man, another thoughts 💭 maybe

Record month on all metrics @Collector_Crypt - >$11.7M monthly gross profit - Top 10 highest revenue in all of crypto - >$40M in tokenized assets (backed by $CARDS) - Secondary marketplace activity increasing - Big One Piece demand -> new $1k gacha is live - New partnerships dropping every week - CC gacha marketshare increased to almost 79% Team professionally counters every baseless FUD post, also funny how many I’ve seen on such a small token. Makes you think everyone is sidelined. "Updated the secret roadmap, looking at 20x higher numbers than today with a reasonable path to get there. Only at 5% now." Token currently sitting at $58M mcap after a nice pullback. Believe this will break ATH soon.

Thanks, that write-up is helpful, and the leaderboard explanation makes sense if it includes referred deposits + own deposits. That said, I think this should be clearly indicated in the UI, distinguishing between a standard deposit and referred deposits; otherwise, it looks like some wallets have privileged access or a higher cap. Before making a USDC deposit, I’d really like to review primary materials: docs, whitepaper, technical spec, contracts/GitHub, audit reports, Lean 4/formal verification artifacts, and ideally join a Discord/community channel.

Forecast
Forecast@ForecastFDN·
For the first time ever, Forecast offers the ability to gain real leverage on prediction markets. Instead of posting a dollar of collateral for a dollar of exposure, you get leverage on the probability itself. For traders, the same strategies that built perpetual futures into the deepest markets in crypto are now available for real world events. On Polymarket, France has a 67% chance to win their World Cup match right now. A two cent move to 69% is barely worth trading at 1x. At just 20x, that same move turns $25,000 into $40,000, a 60% gain. At 100x, it turns $25,000 into $100,000, a 300% gain. For the capital behind those trades, Forecast is a new source of yield. Supply USDC and earn from the demand for leverage across every market, without being directionally exposed to any of them. Your return does not depend on which way a market resolves. This combination is what sets Forecast apart: real leverage on one side, neutral capital on the other. When action is driven by the best information, true price discovery is achievable. Forecast becomes the place where probabilities are set, and where new information surfaces first. Forecast prices the future.

@kelxyz_ I don't know, I don't see it as an asymmetric investment thesis, a 10X or anything like that, just something like a hedge against "AI eating the world"

Testing a equities thesis: permanent underclass index - We already know 99% of consumer brands are giving us terrible quality. Luxury or otherwise - Value accrues to barbell: $100k/hr SF escorts who play DnD on one side, TJ Max clothing for 90% of america on the other side It's AI resilient as well: AGI hits: Underclass given slop dividends sufficient to caloriemax No AGI - Economic recession due to levered AI buildout. Chicken nuggets no caviar in 2028 There's a thesis to play with about a rotation away from ecommerce, which has largely become a scam front for drastically upcharged goods from Chinese factories. Amazon delivers upcharged slop really fast, I might as well just go buy the same slop for a 15 min drive. In fact the slop is often better, and much cheaper. Walk into a TJ MAX, you feel the America inside of you. The Underclass isn't so bad here. I'm sorry dad.

Binance still leads crypto price discovery. New research tested lead-lag across 29 assets on @binance , @HyperliquidX , and @Lighter_xyz. Result: Binance led HL by ~700ms. Lighter led HL by ~700ms too. Binance led Lighter by only ~100ms. The culprit: HL's consensus layer requires 2 full HyperBFT cycles before a Binance price move shows up in fills. Lighter proves it's not a "DEX problem": in-memory matching + ZK settlement cuts lag to ~100ms. HL dominates on liquidity, OI, and novel markets (pre-IPO perps, weekend RWAs). But the next PerpDEX war will be fought on latency. @LayerZero_Core's Zero is building exactly that stack QMDB (verifiable state, 6x RocksDB), FAFO (1.1M EVM TPS, single node), vApps (in-memory match + ZK proof). The latency frontier is where the next PerpDEX war gets won. Zero and @GTE_XYZ will show up armed. Excited about what @PrimordialAA is building Data from @ArrakisFinance

PreStocks
PreStocks@PreStocks·
Recent headlines do not change the reality of pre-IPO markets. SPVs have been a dominant part of pre-IPO secondaries for over a decade. SPV and counterparty risks are not new. Private companies have long been aware of, relied on, and benefited from secondary markets, even while publicly disavowing them. SPVs and secondaries help these private companies broaden investor demand, provide liquidity to employees and early investors, and support price discovery. At PreStocks, we mitigate counterparty risk by avoiding 3rd or lower layer SPVs, verifying actual ownership up to the cap table, and vetting and reference checking fund managers before tokenization. PreStocks tokens are Reg S debt instruments issued outside the U.S. and available only to eligible non-U.S. users. They provide economic exposure without placing tokenholders on private-company cap tables. Minting and redemption require eligibility verification and KYC. Settlement on redemption or exit is made in stablecoins or tokenized public equity after IPO, not via direct equity transfer. As PreStocks scales, we further diversify backing across more SPVs, negotiate better terms, and progressively upgrade to higher quality exposure. PreStocks benefits from and advocates for stronger private-market standards, including greater accountability from larger private companies that benefit from secondary markets, stronger protections for secondary-market investors, clearer ownership-chain reporting, stronger rules for SPV fund managers, and improved reporting by token issuers (including PreStocks). All live PreStocks tokens remain fully backed in accordance with our terms, and PreStocks continues to operate normally. As long as a secondary market exists, PreStocks exists. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

@tulipking @Slowly_rich I agree that privacy becomes exponentially more important as wealth increases. But I don't see why that automatically leads to ZEC. If a whale wants practical privacy, they probably don't want to assume ZEC's volatility just to hide movements...

@tulipking @Slowly_rich $ZEC has a different thesis: it's the idea of a native, bearer, issuerless monetary asset with protocol-level privacy. That could be valuable, but it's another bet on the future. That hasn't been proven yet. Someone wanting privacy doesn't automatically mean they want to buy ZEC

@tulipking @Slowly_rich They want privacy over assets that are already liquid and useful: USDC, USDT, ETH, lending, swaps, LPs, etc. Something like RAILGUN seems more intuitive there: privacy applied to money and DeFi that people already use...

Zcash is an iq test, if you were handed bitcoin in 2013 would you have held through the crash to the 2014 double bubble? would you have held through to 2017? 2021? 2025? how many cycles could your faith endure? > I’m not saying Zcash is ordained, it’s discounted reasonably fairly to the likelihood of this outcome, but if you are a believer you need to tap into the zeal of early bitcoin whales
