@sc0nesandc0ffee@FullTrackFox@ArcRaiderAlerts Its actually a fact. You can't push unbeknownst in arc due to the ability to see over your cover without exposing oneself. While in marathon you can just get lucky that a person isn't actively looking your direction.
@sc0nesandc0ffee@FullTrackFox@ArcRaiderAlerts Marathon rewards you for not being good. It constantly gives you free stuff. There is less risk in losing anything because you dont have to play to have anything. In arc the free kits are always garbage.
@FullTrackFox@ClintFohn@ArcRaiderAlerts I’d also argue not only that most people ‘want to chill’, most people don’t like failing and Marathon doesn’t care. Be better or die.
it was like, five or six years ago, i wanna say when AC valhalla came out, that a game map like this would have been called "ubislop trash" and "junk to fill up an open world" so i'm just kind of confused as to why this is raising the bar and good now
@sc0nesandc0ffee@ArcRaiderAlerts No such thing as friendly lobbies. Its all player choice and always has been. One game has a more advanced matchmaking algorithm and the other barely has one and still takes 3 times as long to place lobbies.
@ClintFohn@ArcRaiderAlerts No ABMM so you can’t get into friendly lobbies and most of the players in Marathon are NOT friendly. So there is constant PvP threat which means making tough decisions about PvE engagements.
This also means less exfiling so less supply retention.
@ClintFohn@sc0nesandc0ffee@ArcRaiderAlerts Arc is 3rd person which already makes it casual.
Marathon has deadlier enemy AI and a higher skill ceiling of players.
Most people want to chill out and game and thats why Arc is more popular.
@ClintFohn@terminallyOL@yellowserif Not really, MMOs have a certain design philosophy surrounding their gameplay
A good example of what can be considered a "single player mmo" is Final Fantasy 12
@ClintFohn@ArcRaiderAlerts I could argue the same about Arc all you hear is the Arc literally can’t hear any footsteps of people at all at least in Marathon you can hear people
@XhileMMA@CravensJayce@ArcRaiderAlerts How is it racist to point out that your pfp is a black guy? If he woulda said your retarded because your black i would understand. You just ousted yourself as retarded but not black something that imo is worse. Atl east if you were black you would have an excuse...
@ArcRaiderAlerts There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s actually better than Arc imo it’s just that it’s too hardcore for the casuals that play Arc. Arc makes everything super easy to achieve where Marathon you actually need to grind which people don’t want to do these days.
@klara_sjo@JayViperTV Calls it a peasant stick when clearly its just a skill issue. If you need a sledge hammer to drive a common nail the hammer isn't the problem your just retarded.
What causes this anti-white hate by this adult black woman for this small white child?
I believe this adult woman, beating up a small child is a teacher also.
Is this ever acceptable?
Your thoughts on this??
ARC Raiders players are reacting strongly to Flashpoint’s new Close Scrutiny map condition, describing it as “hell on Earth.”
The event introduces high-risk, high-reward gameplay, with valuable loot drops guarded by multiple ARC threats, including Vaporizers and Surveyors.
Players report being overwhelmed by constant enemy pressure, especially in open areas where encounters quickly escalate into chaotic fights.
Some have compared the experience to Helldivers 2’s Malevelon Creek, citing nonstop combat and intense difficulty.
Despite the challenge, the mode is driving engagement as players attempt to master the new conditions.

@elbethium Worst mechanic in this game on yop of the game feeling very clunky with the controls, bosses are lame and there is absolutely no music to the game. Its the most mid souls like game with devs that are soft and can't take criticism
How do they say it?
Dont gaze into the abyss, or it will gaze back.
If you peak between dimensions, you can literally get pulled into the other.
No other soulslike has this.
So let me get this straight… Tien Wen developed the blueprint for a new weapon and then hid them in Assessors? Instead of just handing it through the door… I can tolerate her sass but she’s cross the line with this.
