For those who use @SoapboxTech @Replit or any other AI tool to complete their assignment gets zapped. Until next Monday!

Another solid call this week at @BitcoinDojo1 We covered: 1. What is the point at infinity? Why do we need it? What algebraic properties would fail without it? 2. What are elliptic curves over finite fields, and how do they differ from elliptic curves over real numbers? 3. What is secp256k1? Why did Satoshi choose it? 4. What is the generator point? How is it determined for an elliptic curve? 5. What is the Discrete Logarithm Problem? What do we mean when we say it’s a ‘hard’ problem? 6. What are private keys and public keys in the context of elliptic curves? Explain the process of generating private and public keys. 7. What is a Digital Signature? What is it used to prove? 8. Outline the signing algorithm for ECDSA 9. Outline the verification algorithm for ECDSA. Between signing and verification, which is the more computationally expensive algorithm? 10. Why is it important to have a ‘unique K’ in ECDSA? See you all next week.
