When a drug lasts 24 hours (an antihistamine, say), what does that actually mean? Has it been engineered to last exactly 24 hours? Or is that shorthand for, "It's safe to take it every 24 hours so we're rounding to that number for ease, even though it really lasts X hours"?

My mom told me that my niece started taking hormones and has changed their name to Devin on Instagram. I guess they’re trans now. I just hope they got clearance from their transplant team to take the hormones. My mom is really upset and thinks they’re just confused. I don’t know.

Went on a date last night. First night in a long while. He took me to dinner. He talked about his narcissistic ex. He sat with me in his truck for an hour or better telling me about her antics. I listened. Politely. Shared thoughts when asked. I listened before dinner, at dinner, and after dinner about the craziness in his life. On the way home, he said he wasn’t attracted to me. That he didn’t feel “animalistic” toward me. He was easily 6’3” and 350+ pounds. Alrighty, then. I’m probably not crazy enough to stoke that fire.🔥

I saw a video bout how women compliment absolutely anything they like about other women and girls,, but yet men rarely get compliments from anyone, and isn't that so sad. The next day, i told a man in station that i thought his dressing looked really cool an, and suddenly he followed me for the next 30 minutes until i approached a cop in the street . Fastest reminder ever of why we don't do this
