@GalaxyPodcast Is it possible the @LAGalaxy could buy out Yoshida's 2026 contract at end of season and bring back Jalen Neal?

Still contemplating the entire season. @HammerEV9 jokes this season has been a RomCom. That your best friend has been there this whole time but you didn't realize it until she took off her glasses (Think "She's All That"). Did 2017 and on taint our ability to judge the Galaxy correctly? Or has their been another gear in the playoffs? Is it the competition? What have we seen in 3 games that has drastically altered ours and everyone's vistion? #LAGalaxy #MLS

@insidehighered Weird that he never mentions climate. He never explores whether people deciding against having children might be pessimistic about the future world those children would live in.

The greed is almost a legendary comic trope - one fun fact - when I was a youngin- I did a film (with a boom box ) and somehow I got points - net not gross. Never expected to see any money - but the film became quite famous - so about 10 years ago - I looked again at the financial statements they were obligated to report - and to my shock - they claimed they had LOST 44 million dollars on the film - I thought wow , I almost bankrupted Fox! ( not really ) The film cost about 13 million to make - and money spent to release was minimal at the time - 30 years in - that film lost millions every year ! A neat accounting trick don’t ya think ?

SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher slams Hollywood execs: 'They plead poverty, that they’re losing money left and right, when giving hundreds of millions of dollars to their CEOs. It is disgusting — shame on them.'

@donmoyn Do you think Beckham told Messi it took him 5 yrs to win an MLS Cup? (If a single dominant player was enough to win an MLS Cup, Zlatan would have two. tbf, Robbie Keane won it his first year.)

@educationgadfly Pondisco has a point on public school teachers' values, but he misses the core issue: *public* schools are in the public sector, the government. Conservatives tell us they hate government. They attack the public good teachers work so hard to sustain for all children, all of us.

Conservatives’ blunder is making enemies of public school teachers, writes Robert Pondiscio. In fact, teachers are congenitally conservative. Republicans just haven't realized it yet. fordhaminstitute.org/national/comme…

I'm telling you, folks, you've gotta read the 14th Amendment. The whole thing. The "Framers" who wrote it, the ratifiers, weren't messing around. We mostly ignore it, or pretend it isn't as radical as it is. constitution.congress.gov/constitution/a…

@kbaxter11 @LAGalaxy Heart-breaking and spot on. Beckerman squandered everything it took 20 years to build. Too arrogant and blind to bring Bruce back, or give Dom the full time job. Dropping AJ was the final folly. They've never recovered.
