On 2026-04-25, the @Litecoin network faced abnormal activity involving invalid MWEB transactions and a temporary chain split. f2pool detected the issue in real time and responded immediately, continuing to mine on the valid chain under the correct consensus rules. After a tense 13-block chase, the valid chain caught up. From block 3,095,931 onward, f2pool mined the key blocks that helped the valid chain overtake the invalid fork, leading to a natural reorg back to the correct chain. Quick breakdown of what happened on the @litecoin network over the weekend. A zero day bug hit mining pools and a small number of nodes that hadn't been updated allowed some invalid MWEB transactions to slip through. The network reorganized 13 blocks on its own, reversed every invalid transaction, and left every valid transaction completely untouched. The chain NEVER went OFFLINE. Worth noting this was not a 51% attack, even though some people were quick to call it that. Block reorganizations are a standard proof-of-work self-correction mechanism, designed for exactly this kind of scenario. The dev team had identified this vulnerability weeks before anyone exploited it and had already patched the majority of nodes. It happened because a handful of operators hadn't updated yet. They caught it early, moved fast, and the network corrected itself without missing a beat. $LTC: Hard money built to last.

Such blatant FUD on Litecoin needs debunking, even though it’s not even worth engaging with and should just be reported for misinformation. Binance exchange was holding exactlee 8M $LTC on during February 2025. Today, Binance holds 6.3M $LTC, well over 1.5M of outflows. Over the course of the last 12 months, well over 1.5M LTC have been bought (on Binance) and moved out of Binance. Don't even get me started on other exchanges as well... OKX exchange was holding 3.39M $LTC at the beginning of 2025. It now holds 3.11M $LTC. Fact is, people are accumulating #Litecoin like crazy.
