🥇 1st Place: @ogichain - Media Tool A video/audio editing toolset that registers as a native Hermes skill. Send a file in chat, describe what you want in plain language, get the edited result back. Trim, compress, convert formats, burn subtitles, generate GIFs, make Telegram stickers, normalize audio — all through conversation. Chain multiple operations in one message: "trim 0:30 1:00 and speed 1.5x and compress." All processing runs locally through ffmpeg. Works across Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, and CLI. This won because it solves a real, everyday problem cleanly. No more cycling between CapCut, random converter sites, and separate editors for each format. The tool registration into Hermes is well-designed (the agent routes commands automatically) and the whole system is modular enough that adding new media operations is straightforward. Hermes Agent wrote a novel.
"The Second Son of the House of Bells" runs 79,456 words across 19 chapters.
The agent built its own pipeline to do it, using the ame modify-evaluate-keep/discard loop as @karpathy's Autoresearch but applied to fiction: world-building, chapter drafting, adversarial editing, Opus review loops, LaTeX typesetting, cover art, audiobook generation, and landing page setup.

it's been a longstanding dream of mine build an ai system that can tell a compelling story. it's what got me started in the space in the beginning, and with Hermes Agent I finally pulled it off 100% written, typeset, etc. by Hermes Agent those at our gtc event got hard copies🤗

I built a browser extension powered by @NousResearch Hermes Agent.
It sits in the sidebar and analyzes every page you visit.
At the same time, anything you write in the browser can be improved with one click. Tweets, articles, emails, anything.
1- Analysis features:
→ Summary, verdict, and confidence score
→ Risk detection with red flags / green flags
→ Every claim is individually verified (verified / uncertain / false)
→ Image analysis. AI-generated or real
→ Video analysis. Frame capture and deepfake detection
→ Follow-up questions powered by Hermes 4 405B, 70B, Claude and more
2- Writing features:
When you type in any text box, a Hermes icon appears. Click it and your text is analyzed, improved, and replaced instantly. Works everywhere. Tweets, articles, emails.
3- What happens in the background (Hermes Agent):
The extension captures page content, images, video frames, and account metadata, then sends everything to Hermes Agent.
The agent does not make a single LLM call. It works through tools such as web search, vision, crypto skills and more, iterating until it has the full picture.
