My mother has a speech impediment. My child is neurodivergent. Our continued lack of compassion when people don’t sound like us is dangerous. I pray for the day we realize that people can be brilliant and capable without sounding like they are toastmaster graduates.

Overturning Roe v. Wade was wrong, and continues to place the lives of numerous disabled people at risk.
Plenty of disabled people cannot safely have children, such as people who take medication incompatible with pregnancy. Banning abortions places their health in danger!

Sen Stuart over and over suggests how important it is for autistic people to get arrested and charged and caught up in the criminal justice system so that they can get the help they need (and then have the charges dismissed). What a screwed up world we live in.

+ kids do get significantly sick with COVID
+ Covid does spread at school
+ it’s taken all my family about 12-24 hours from symptom onset to test positive and the first symptom was sneezing
+ if you think your kid is “getting a cold” test them. Keep them home. Test again.
