WVU has always had a strong NYC metro presence. Very cool to see it continue in baseball :) Canute Curtis, Amos Zereoué, Kevin Jones, Truck Bryant, Chris Brooks, Seldon Jefferson, Scooter Berry just to name a few right off the top of my head. Plus @deucemcb11 playing for Knicks!

@PistolRick I don't understand why every NBA logo needs a basketball. I know other sports have teams that incorporate their ball sometimes, but like 90% of NBA teams seem to think we wouldn't know the sport without a basketball in it.

Both games were extremely close and could have gone either way. The what if., if nick would have used Jelkin in the 9th in game 2 would we have seen game 3. He gambled.

POST-REGIONALS TAKEAWAYS IN THE COLLEGE BASEBALL TOURNAMENT: 1. NC State should NOT have made the tournament 2. Virginia Tech should’ve been way closer to the bubble like we all thought 3. Kentucky still should not have made it as they can not win a 3 game series if their life depended on it 4. The SEC still runs College Baseball and it’s not really close 5. The ACC was INCREDIBLY overrated 6. Expect the unexpected (most 4-seed advancements in tournament history) 7. Mercer still got robbed (I’ll never forget you Mercer)

@quazydawg @DrLoafCFB @evanscbb WVU was up 5-1 with 4 outs left and in an 0-2 count. Kentucky scored 4 runs within the next 5 minutes. If his pitch is up one inch, WVU wins 5-1 and you aren't chirping. Instead, WVU kept a guy in a little too long and made it unnecessarily interesting.

Tournament Trapezoid of Excellence There are 5 teams still alive in the trapezoid, both Ole Miss and Mississippi State outside the bounds. Florida, Texas A&M, UCLA, and Georgia Tech were all teams inside the trapezoid that lost in regionals. UCLA lost before the regional final.

@ben_onabike @OldUncleBenny @PEARatings I think it's basically saying you are lucky and luck has its limitations, that's why nobody outside of the trapezoid ever wins. UCLA kept going further and further right with all of their walk-offs, only to get eliminated by a mid-major.

WVU just played Arizona State in Arizona until 2:47am Eastern last weekend and played a championship with no pitchers left at 3pm the next day. No tears will be shed.

The NCAA needs some situational awareness here. @CalPolyBSB is playing 3 time zones away at @WVUBaseball for the Supers. They’ll fly from the Central Coast to WV, possibly a 3-leg trip. Yet they make Game 1 a 9am pacific start time. C’mon guys, this shouldn’t happen.

Odds to Win Championship During regionals, the #1, #2, #7, and #9 teams in PEAR's odds all went down. Georgia overtakes as the favorite to win the National Championship. North Carolina with higghest odds to reach the Finals. Alabama with the highest odds to reach Omaha.

So @CalPolyBSB who hasn’t played a game further east than California since February 14th…is being forced to open their Super Regional play at 9am PT. NCAA proving again they don’t have anyone with a brain making decisions.

@CaliforniaWager @Theinsiders Also, saying there's nothing to do in WV is lazy. It's the most naturally gifted state east of the Rockies. World class hiking, biking, skiing, white water rafting, climbing, etc all near campus. Places like this within 5 minutes of Morgantown.
