To the People of Our Once-Great-Republic:
I write not as an enemy to any faction, but as one who has long observed the decay of public virtue beneath the banners of party and personality. It is a grievous error of our age to mistake men for movements, and loyalty for liberty. No republic can endure where devotion to individuals supplants devotion to principles.
Let it be plainly spoken: the cause of self-government is not the property of any one leader, nor is it preserved by blind allegiance. When citizens yield their judgment to spectacle and faction, they surrender the very faculty by which freedom is maintained.
We are told, in whispers and in passing remarks, truths too inconvenient for the public stage—that foreign entanglements are justified not by necessity, but by fear of worse contrivances left unattended. Such admissions, though carelessly given, reveal a deeper disorder: that the affairs of nations are conducted not in the open light of reason, but in the shadows of calculation and consequence.
There are those who claim that the old systems must be broken or bent to give rise to the new. This may be so. But let us take heed—when destruction precedes design, tyranny is often the architect that follows.
Consider well the instruments now proposed in the name of progress: systems of currency and control that bind the labor of a man not only to his government, but to its approval. Should such mechanisms take root, liberty will not perish in an instant—it will be administered away, measured, scored, and rationed until the citizen becomes but a tenant of his own life.
What is framed as innovation may yet prove to be a return to servitude—an order not of free men, but of managed subjects. Laws, once accepted without scrutiny, become chains no less binding for their quiet adoption. And those who consent without question may find they have bartered away not only their rights, but the inheritance of their children.
It must therefore be declared: any system that places the sovereignty of the individual beneath the total discretion of centralized authority stands in opposition to the spirit of a free republic. To advance such a design under oath to that republic is not reform—it is betrayal in practice, if not in name.
The labors of the people—earned by sweat, risk, and sacrifice—ought not to be returned to them at a cost, filtered through gates they do not control. A nation that permits such an arrangement ceases to be governed by its citizens and becomes governed over them.
We are not strangers to long conflicts, though they be undeclared. The struggles of influence, finance, and dominion have endured across generations, often unseen by those most affected. Nor do foreign powers retreat from such contests simply because we wish them to.
Now we stand again at the edge of another great entanglement. Prudence demands we ask not only how we arrived here, but who benefits from our arrival—and at what cost to the republic.
Let us be wary of multiplying enemies abroad while neglecting the fractures within. For a divided people, inflamed and distrustful, require no foreign adversary to hasten their decline.
I urge you, therefore, to return to first principles: to question boldly, to reason plainly, and to guard jealously that liberty which, once diminished, is seldom restored without great trial.
The times demand not passion alone, but clarity.
And above all, they demand citizens—not subjects.
I lend to you, fellow citizen, the following two truths:
1) Individual Sovereignty is the real Divine Right.
2) Any political entity that does not protect its children has lost its license to exist.

Let's have a conversation about #3 together, and bind ourselves once again as a Union about its business.
