Just so that you realize, its the Canadian people who are giving political legitimacy to evil leaders, in large part, because we are an evil nation, and ought to repent.

This book by my former professor is probably the best book on Jonah. The chapters explaining each of Jonah’s 4 chapters are far better than a typical commentary.

Because He lives I can face tomorrow, and every day after that God gives me.

Tomorrow we will gather at Halifax Reformed Baptist Church to celebrate the resurrection, just as we do every Lord's Day.

Because Jesus' tomb is empty, my grave will be one day. Yours can be too, as you can be raised to everlasting life if you will repent of your sin and put your faith in Christ, the one who died for sinners, was buried, and who was raised on the third day.

Do not interpret the fact that you are alive today as a promise that you will be alive tomorrow. If you are yet to repent and believe in the gospel, do not wait for another minute. Do it now.

We should not think of "adding" the Lord's Supper to a service of preaching and singing. We should think of it the other way around: we read Scripture, pray, sing, and hear a sermon at the Lord's Supper.
