This is one of my childhood friends and her son. SON. That is a grown ass man on the left. (I blurred her out but I won’t extend to him the same courtesy) So this kid’s dad was a guy named Jacob that I used to run with. Jacob was LEGIT crazy. The poster child for instability and mental illness. Really bad shit. Guns, crime, drugs, delusion. You name it. He was mentally unpredictable. The mfer didn’t make it to the age of 30. He’s dead. His brother was also fucked up and hung himself in front of his kids. Nevertheless, me and the friend in the photo remained close long after Jacob’s death. The kid was about 6 or 7 at the time Jacob died. (Jacob was never in his life) Let me tell you, this kid was treated as the second coming of Christ by her and her family, and that’s putting it lightly. I once helped this woman move and this kid had a huge toy room with toys on the floor about two feet deep. No exaggeration. Busted up, unappreciated. This kid was coddled to no end. A complete brat with zero manners or respect. He was insanely spoiled, whiny, and award winning insufferable. I lost contact with my friend a few years ago. Life got busy. Recently a mutual friend sent me a screenshot of a post made by the mom (my old friend) saying how proud she was of her ‘daughter.’ Apparently the boy thinks he’s a girl now and they just feed into the bullshit, per usual. Well. This screenshot was sent to me today and apparently this fucker has a gun now. This kid needed SEVERE help a LOOOONG time ago and he never got it. Bookmark this post. I have a bad feeling.

I believe Islamophobia is not merely ignorance, but a kind of illness. I, too, had many strange prejudices about Islam when I was a Christian. But after breaking free from those prejudices, my health improved and my life changed. A life without Islam is not truly living. Even if I were offered hundreds of billions, I would never abandon Islam. I cannot even imagine a life without Islam.
